| Thanks for sharing Milt. That was a wonderfully written letter. Very concise and well-worded. It's just a pity the wildfire around this has burnt out so of course Sean Insanity and Fox won't actually report the letter. I wonder whether people should be calling for his resignation like he was so strong in doing with Rather. As a side note, I adore the press conference snippet about the Ten Commandments. | The right-wing media's reporting of Senator Harry Reid's 1999 comments about Social Security privatization have been exposed as completely distorted and inaccurate. The media in this country really bothers me. There have been so many lies and distortions about Democrats over the past few years. I realize that it works both ways sometime, but clearly the majority of the lies and distortions come from right-wing media sources. I also think people don't understand what media bias is. Conservatives think media bias means criticizing the president for something. Real media bias is making thing sup or distorting facts to promote your own agenda. If there is truth, there is no bias. So just because a newspaper or magazine criticizes the president doesn't make it biased. It's only biased if they are distorting the facts or just making things up. __________________ When people get the opportunity to talk about the real issues, it becomes clear how vacuous the present agenda is.
