Countdown

Numerous threads have been flooded with anger, disappointment, and sadness about the turnout of the US election. I'm here to say look on the bright side! Bush only has 1517 more days in office then he's outta there

disclaimer: not sure if I did my math correctly. if anyone thinks its different let me know

I'm already counting down the days until the next football season...damn crappy Bears suck again this year.

Anyway, does that mean that you're gonna throw a party at 1518?

Great, that's 1517 more days to have to hear the Democrats complain. ::sob:: Why does your bright side have to be my dark side... that sounds like I'm talking about a Star Wars movie.

It's not a dem/repub thing for me. I vote for the candidate not the party. However I live in an area with a number of die-hard, if satan was running they'd vote for him Dems. And they don't hold back. I just guess I get tired of people saying "Bush's stupid" without reasons. I mean, if you can back it up say it all you want but I hate it when they just spout.

BTW: Good luck with your football team.

The Titans rock. I used to play hockey with Al Delgreco's kid, he was their field goal kicker when they went to the super bowl.

I was hoping the Bears would do better this year...with a new coach and all, but oh well. Speaking of football, my brother is a huge Titans fan. He loved them when they were still the Oilers, but when the moved and became the Titans, he was living in Tenn, so it was like a dream come true for him.

Anyway, can I come to the party? I'll celebrate anything. I don't care what it is. I'm just easily amused.

As far as voting down party lines, I don't do that either. I voted for Denise Majette (D) for the open Senate seat here in Georgia...she ended up losing anyway, but I liked her a lot.

Bah, try supporting the Bengals before you complain. At least you have a playoff-season this millenium...

And Bush can't mess up that much in four years, can he?

Yeah, that's true. Plus, the Bears are on a one game winning streak. Guess I can't complain too much.

And no, of course Bush can't mess up that much in four years.

What pisses me off about the Bears the most is that the city/state spent HOW many MILLIONS of dollars refurbishing that stadium...and for what? Nobody will ever be able to convice me that was a good use of money. Damn that Mayor Daley, he definitely runs that city!

I agree, I can understand why some smaller cities need to spend a lot on stadiums for tourist dollars. Chicago definitely does not fall into that category. I'm so angry that so much money was poured into that darned stadium.
