I think this is an interesting topic, so I thought I'd throw it out there.

I don't have much faith in McGuinty actually following through on what he says, but in principle this seems like a great move to me. These herbicides are poisons, after all, and they affect people trying to enjoy their own yards or use the public sidewalks.

Ooooo, excellent topic.

Well, we (by which I mean "Quebec") had a ginormous hole in the ozone for a while there. So, yeah, drastic things needed to happen.

I'm all for this. I don't know. It may sound incredibly naive, but I generally have a healthy amount of fear towards herbicides. I know they're all studied and stuff so as to minimize harmful health risks... but they still give me the heebie-jeebies.

Besides, I think controlling what we put in our soil is generally a good idea, you know?
