| Colin Powell Submits Resignation ...according to CNN. No details yet though. Anyway, I'm not surprised. | Well he's got to be exhausted, and aside from that and not always seeing eye to eye with Bush I know that his wife is rumored to be very against having a public life so all of these could have attributed to his resignation. I really thought he wouldn't do it unless Rumsfeld did too though. I still wouldn't be suprised to see that resignation follow. | I saw an interview with him and his wife several years ago and they talked about his public life. She seemed to be very against it...I can understand that though. | Powell pretty much lost all the battles to the neo-cons in the Administration. He was diminished in my eyes after the Iraq War because I felt he thought it was wrong but decided to play the good soldier role to Bush. Anyway..he'll be fine.
