Anna Moyer got stuck in a washing machine Tuesday night at an apartment in Shillington, Pa., and it started running. "It stopped the other way, then both ways," Anna said. Anna is probably too young to do laundry, but she knows what it's like to be laundry. The 8-year-old got trapped in a front-loading washing machine after climbing in on a dare at an apartment complex she was visiting. The drum filled with water and spun the 48-pound girl around for about five minutes. "Keep bumping my head," Anna said. Her 12-year-old sister and a friend watched in horror, unable to stop the machine. "I keep throwing up in there," Anna said. A resident disabled the machine by pulling out wires. A police officer got it open, but doesn't know how it started. "She's bruised all the way down her back," said Daphne Moyer, Anna's mother. Anna has some bruises, but no broken bones. "I think she has nine lives and I think she used two of them up, but this is one strong girl," Daphne Moyer said. "I'm grateful that she's fine. I lost a lot of people in my life don't need to lose her -- love my daughters," said Glenn Moyer, Anna's father. The laundry room at the apartment complex is closed until further notice. "We'll get a different type of machine. If it happened once -- too much for us," said Gary Tulley, with Shillington Commons. | Oh geez, I live like 25 minutes away from that town. Stories like these always amuse me about how people (even parents) let their kids crawl into washing machines and not even notice when they got missing. __________________ | |||

| Oh come on...you never played with friends when your parents weren't around? They were probably just playing around in the laundry room, we always used to fool around in our basement where the laundry machines were in my apt. building. | |||
