Predictions for tomorrow?

I'm hoping that Obama gets over 300 Electoral Votes and that it's over early and we don't have a repeat of the Florida fiasco in 2000.

Sounds good to me. Wait. Maybe not 300 or there will be a claim of voter fraud by the McCain team. Oh, and for everyone to get back their Obama and McCain yard signs although I've seen more McCain/Palin signs intact....

I don't support abortion but I'm not going to allow some individual to tell me that I CAN"T do something. I wasn't aware that God put McCain and Palin in charge of a woman's body.
ITA. I personally would never get an abortion, or advocate getting one to someone else. But that's my personal feelings and I don't feel it's morally right to try to shove my opinions down someone else's throat. And I certainly don't feel that it's right to make it illegal for a women to make a choice regarding her body.

In addition, how does banning sex ed. classes solve the unwanted pregnancy issue unless to promote the idea of making women throw themselves a flight of stairs instead of getting proper care and advice.

Wow, I did not know this:

Al-Qaeda supporters endorsed John McCain for the presidency. They also encouraged a pre-election attack on the US, saying it would sway voters to cast ballots for McCain.

The endorsement, which appeared on an al-Qaeda website, cites the terrorist group's plans to exhaust the US militarily and financially.

"This requires presence of an impetuous American leader such as McCain, who pledged to continue the war till the last American soldier," the message said.

This was according to an Election Quiz off MiamiHerald.com. You're welcome to try the quiz out if you like:

Are some people still on the whole Obama is not a citizen? His birth certificate is on his website, first and foremost. Secondly, the people at factcheck.org looked at the birth certificate and said it was legitimate.

And actually, John McCain was born in Panama.

Banning sex ed classes? What are they going to teach abstinence? And creationism too? I find that highly offensive, since I myself, do not believe in God. and I feel that it should not even be an issue.

No, I don't think it's fair to keep kids in the dark about sex. I hope my future children will want to wait but I have to be realistic - they need to be informed. Better they hear about it from an adult than from some young punk pressuring them to do it.

*rubbing temples* Um, yes - it's still going on. And I'm sure people know where McCain was born as well. I think it's pretty much cemented who people are voting for - whether it's Obama, McCain, Nader, or some other candidate who is running for president.

I would just like it to be over - my tummy has been doing backflips the whole weekend.

I'm just so nervous about tomorrow. It's my first time voting, and I'm doing it by myself. Does anyone have any tips for me?

I'm writing this in caps letters not to offend you but to show you how much of the following is VERY important:

1) BRING YOUR I.D. - If you forget to bring this to the polls, you just wasted all your time in line.

2) BRING A CHAIR, WATER, & SOMETHING TO ENTERTAIN YOU - unless you plan to get their EXTRA early, expect a LONG wait.

3) TOMORROW IS THE ONLY DAY TO VOTE - apparently some info. is going around by the RNC that Democrats can vote Wednesday too. *sigh*

4) BE PREPARED FOR MASS PERSUADING - from the presidential level to certain amendments.

I think that's it. Have fun! You get to tell your kids that you were part of quite a historical moment in history.

Are you able to get there any earlier than that? You might be looking at 6 to 7 hours possibly in line - no joke.

Wow. Probably. What time do you suggest?

When I was like 13 my teacher took us so we could shadow her when she voted but I don't really remember lol, but I'm pretty sure I understand the voting thing. It's just getting out there to vote that I have trouble with. And my mother doesn't vote and no adults I know do...so I'm kind of going by ear lol

IK, nice time to ask these things, right?

I hear that most polling sites are opening as early as 7 A.M. and that people plan on lining up at 2 A.M. I don't suppose you'd want to get there that early, huh? You can get more info at this website:
