Well, he had his memory wiped afterwards, so he didn't remember. Even when he tried to regain his memory at Sommerholt, he did not regain that particular memory of Clark stopping the car in front of him.

It always felt like he knew something was at the back of his mind, he always questioned how he could of been saved like that, and it fuelled his curiosity

Agree... I always felt he knew deep inside but never had enough proof to confirm anything.

Yeah, I did feel bad for Lex back then. if Clark was able to tell him the truth back then, not only would Lex accept him, he probably would have protected his secret. But then Clark couldn't tell anyone, except for Pete.

Definitely agree.
I just will always wonder how different things would've been if Lex knew. I definitely doubt the Lex/Lana relationship would have ever happened.

Yeah, things would have totally been different. The whole stupid Clexana stuff in S6 would never have existed and we might have had a better S6...

I know. I always heard that the show was going to end in Season 5 so I wonder if the creative team knew it'd last 10 seasons, would they have delayed on messing up the Clark/Lex friendship...

I don't think they knew the show would even last for 5 seasons. Tom had said that each year, they didn't know if they were coming back or not. I think a lot of people wished the show had ended after 5 seasons, but that would have meant Clark becoming Superman while he was still a teenager and that wouldn't have felt feasible, unless each season took a span of time longer than a year. So I think the writers were really just going along with each year as it came.

Yeah. To an extent, that probably sort of ruined the writing but I enjoyed the series even through it's bad times so it was okay for me.
