There were a few nice Chlark moments in 'Persona' and 'Siren.'

Clark really does rely on Chloe for so much. All the sidekick references in 'Siren' were fun.

At least we'll be getting practically a full set of episodes this season, thankfully, so that gives more screen time for that to potentially happen.

I don't think it would be like that, if it were to progress to that kind of relationship.

Chloe and Lana seem to be very different from each other, and they also interact with Clark in very different ways.

^^^ ITA. If Clark/Chloe got together things would be totally different in their relationship. They have a stronger bond.

Maybe that's partly due to the fact that Chloe found out about Clark's secret before Lana did? Chloe accepted him without hesitation, and Clark trusts her completely with that secret. Their bond is based a lot on that foundation of trust.

Yes, they were.

They've spent lots of time together over the years, not only while solving cases but also just being there for each other when things got tough.
