Thanks. I'm still feeling a little tired, but otherwise less 'blah'

Charmed is AWESOME. I love it so much. I started watching online to begin with, the first half of S1 and then I bought an expensive version of the box set (it wasn't too much, but after seeing it and falling in love with the show early and I knew I'd enjoy the rest of the series - also it's pretty rare, so I thought I'd get it before it sells out completely). It was totally worth it. The DVDs are in a special Book of Shadows limited deluxe edition (made to look like the book in the show, with the original artwork). Anyways, I totally recommend watching Charmed. That's a good idea, watch it after Supernatural.

Thanks, I had a great day at the zoo today. The weather was nice too. Hope Snoopy is doing well.

That sounds a really fab box set, and a very good investment I would imagine I'll definitely give Charmed a try

I'm kind of giving up hope with Snoopy, there's been no improvement over the last couple of days, and I'm starting to worry I'm not being fair to him, as he is losing weight fast, it looks like I may have to face facts that he's not going to get any better, the girls will be so devastated, but I'm running out of options

Glad you're feeling better

Yeah, it was definitely a worthwhile investment.

Aww no that's such a shame. Poor Snoopy. I know how hard it must be. Losing any kind of loving pet is devastating. But it's always best to do what you feel would be best for him. Hugs.

I still keep putting off taking Snoopy to the vets just in case there maybe a slight improvement, but I think I'm being selfish really

We are onto season 5 of Supernatural now, it's been really good so far, my friend said it goes downhill from here though, so I shall have to wait and see

Aww, it's understandable that you want to give him the best chance possible to improve and recover.

Awesome, season 5! A shame your friend says it goes downhill from there but seeing as it's now currently almost at the same length run as Smallville, it's bound to have some downhill moments.

Anyways, sorry for being AWOL these last couple of days, there's been some stuff going on that has been a little hard to get my head round, even though I kinda knew it was going to happen eventually.

Poor Snoopy sadly passed away Tuesday night we've all been so upset even though he was only a guinea pig, it was awful burying him, my only consolation is that he isn't suffering any more

Hope you're ok Liv, I was starting to worry as it's not like you to be offline so long, I'm sure you'll work through what's bothering you, just remember it's the tough times that make you a stronger person, life can be horrible sometimes as I've had to tell my girls recently, they will have many battles ahead, and all I can do is be there to support them

Supernatural has got a little complicated and weird, my friend was right, but I shall stick with it to see if it improves

Awww I'm really sorry to hear that. It's sad when any pet dies, be they a dog, cat or a small animal like a guinea pig. My condolences. Yes, at least he isn't suffering anymore. That's what my mum and I had to keep telling ourselves about our dog Jess 4 years ago.

Thanks, sweet of you to worry about me! I'm really ok, just been rather distracted. My older sister is having a, how should I say it... lesbian wedding ceremony next week which we were only told about on Monday. My mum was rather upset about it because she thought she wasn't invited because of her feelings toward's my sister's…how should I say it…sexuality. She has nothing against her partner at all, I don't either, she's very nice, we all get along extremely well and we've known her now for about 4 years now which was when my sister came out. A wedding had been discussed before, but I wasn't expecting this to suddenly come so out of the blue. It was originally supposed to only be an elopement with a couple of witnesses, but then my sister's friend wanted to go, and her partner felt she couldn't exclude her mum because of personal reasons so it kinda got a little more important. Thankfully, this was resolved, and now my mum is attending.

The stupid thing is, the ceremony is taking place in Scotland (there's a place there that provides the only such ceremonies in the UK legally). Which is insanely bad timing what with the whole referendum. By then the Scots will have voted either 'yes' or 'no' and either way it goes tonight will still be chaos up there. I can't go, as it's on the day I will be at work (though I do have 2 weeks off the next day) and also my dad can't make the long journey so someone had to have stayed with him, not to mention someone to look after our dog. I would've gone to support mum, and I love my sister. Her sexuality doesn't matter to me, she's still the same older sister I love. Though I admit it's not something of which I would have expected from her. Anyway, that's how it all worked out. If we had more notice, we probably would have worked out something better for all concerned. But there you go. That's why I've been so distracted this week!
(That, and I had my check up at the dentist yesterday - I HATE going to the dentist!)

I'm glad you've sorted everything out Liv, it's sometimes difficult to please everyone all of the time isn't it? Especially when it's family! Weddings are always tricky it's a pity you couldn't go, but circumstances sometimes get in the way I hope you're sister has a lovely day, I'm sure she will, it's good that she's found someone that she wants to spend the rest of her life with, even if it's not what maybe you and you're family would of wanted originally for her

I never used to like the dentist, but I'm not so bothered now I've got older, I just sit there and shut my eyes, think about something else, and it's soon over with

Yeah, me too! It isn't easy to please everyone, but we're none the worse for wear over it. Very true, they are very happy together, and that's all that matters.

Ooh I couldn't close my eyes. What with the light shining, even with those glasses on…just having to have your mouth open for long amounts of time without drooling, not to mention swallowing is not easy. Ugh, I'm just thankful I only have check-ups once a year. Especially when it cost me £139 this year!

That's an expensive dentist trip I go every six months because of the girls, and I feel I live there lately because of my eldest having a brace

It was, but then I guess that's the price of going to a private practice. Mind you, the prices on the NHS aren't that much cheaper. I almost had braces when I was around 11 or 12, but I really didn't want them.

Yes, it still costs a lot on the NHS, especially for a crown or white filling. At least you have it over with for twelve months I think the braces are working wonders on my daughters teeth, she'll be glad to have them taken off though

Yeah, which will probably whizz by before I know it! That's great that they've worked so well with your daughter's teeth. How long has she had them?

She's had them since April, and she's supposed to have them on for eighteen months, to be honest I'm hoping it will be less than that as it's quite painful for her when they tighten them up hopefully they will be off before then, because as I said they're working really well

I've been looking for a weeks holiday next year (extra to the main fortnight), I quite like the look of Turunc, in Turkey, as I went there for the day on a boat trip and it's so beautiful, and as I may go September it has to be somewhere where the weather is still good, as I'm not so keen on the Canaries I shall take the girls out of school for a week, as by then they will both be at the same school

Oh that's not too long then. I can imagine how painful it must be. One of the reasons I decided not to have them.

Just looked up on Google, Turunc looks lovely, nice choice for your next holiday destination.
