That's exactly my favourite four. Joe, Olly, Stacey and Lucie. I do think Danyl has an amazing voice, there's no doubt he is good, and I did feel bad for him last night but I'm just not sure I would buy an album by him.

I thought it was a really good show, the standard is so high this year. I agreed with the girls about Kandy Rain, if you don't want people to think of you as lapdancers etc then don't dress like them. It's quite simple. They expect people to give them a clean slate and forget about their past, and then come out dressed like that! I did think they were better vocally than previous girlbands they have had on the show, but they weren't great and I can't say I'm bothered about them staying in the competition.

Lloyd was awful. She should never have taken him. The only reason he is there is because he has the cute factor and girls will love him. I think he'll be like Eoghan from last year. But he really was not good at all, that song was way too big for him, he couldn't reach the notes, he looked stiff, and imo they should have waited a year or two before taking him to the live shows, there were other people in that boys group who would have given a better performance. Having said all that I still expect him to be there next week and for many weeks to come because young girls love him and they will vote for him. Eoghan could sing out of tune or be average last year and he consistently was coming top with viewers in the voting, I hope I'm wrong but I expect Lloyd could be similar.

Can't wait for tonight. I'd quite like one of the groups to go, and I think Rikki could be in danger, he was quite forgetable, even Rachel could be in danger having started off the show, the curse of going on first. I'm looking forward to the group performance, and of course seeing Alexandra and Robbie.

I completely agree. I don't think they were as good as Project A even before finding out about their past profession but then when it was all found out and they kept saying they wanted to be taken seriously and the stripper thing was a thing of the past, then why go out there looking like that? There's so many ways to look sexy without looking slutty. And yeah, Dannii and Cheryl have dressed in provocative clothing on stage but it's something they've done once estabished...not when up and coming trying to be taken seriously. I mean cmon. If you don't wanna be considered trashy, don't dress that way, simple as that.

Lloyd was HORRIBLE. It's because of him that my mom is now anti-Cheryl, lol. She hates her now. I adore Queen Chezza of course but Lloyd was the worst choice she could make.

Exactly. Lloyd = Eggnog. They're both getting through because they're "cute" and what kills me is a criticism Cheryl had of Ethan was that he thought he could get by on his looks. What the hell is Lloyd doing then? Ethan would've killed Cry me A River...Ethan or Duane would've. But she chose Lloyd for no real reason other than he's got the girl vote. He has NO stage charisma and is so stiff. His voice isn't as strong as everyone elses....it's just bad.

About Danyl, I didn't think what Dannii said was bad at all in anyway. She actually said exactly what I was thinking at the moment. I think it's because ppl still treat "gay" as being some serious taboo thing. If he is then he is, all she said is he didn't have to change the gender reference. The only reason it was awkward is because ppl treat it so, it really wasn't that awkward. But the crowd got all silent as if she cussed or she made some bigoted comment. Like, calm down a few notches. She was just saying the truth.

Off that issue, I think his performance was good but I still HIGHLY dislike him. What Cheryl and Louis said was true, he comes across as so cocky and arrogant that it's extremely off putting and makes me not wanna watch him even though he can perform well when he's controlling his annoying habits on stage like the facial expressions and stamping feet and all that.

Olly was really good, Lucie was amazing, Stacey was adorable, I liked Jamie a lot although I was expecting something greater. Rachel was cute, definitely loved Miss Frank. Now Simon's comment to Miss Frank was incredibly awkward even though I adore Simon...THAT was awkward. Calling the other 2 girls "bookends" as if they were backup singers when they've all been singing equally this whole time. It's just that Graciella is more memorable because of the rapping and personality. But in terms of their singing, they all contribute something to their performance. John & Edward need to get exiled....from the Earth.

Who the hell is voting for John & Edward?! They're totally going to be the Chico of this season, they'll be kept in over much better and more deserving acts because people think it's funny how much it pisses off Simon

Glad Rachel stayed over Kandy Rain, but don't think they deserved to go either.

Heh I kinda feel bad for Cheryl having to sing the same episode as Whitney Houston. I love the girl but she doesn't have the best of voices, especially when she's going to have to go on before Whitney

I think Whitney has got herself sorted out and clean now, and I hope she stays this way as she is looking really good and I think it's great she has come back. Personally I would feel rather nervous having to go on before her, and I'm sure Cheryl is feeling the nerves regardless being that this her first proper solo performance, and it's on the X Factor of all shows.

I think Kandy Rain seemed rather bitter towards the public on the Xtra Factor. They didn't seem to think they were at fault in anyway for their exit. And whilst I understand they were just trying to be themselves they can't expect people to forget their pasts when they are dressed like that, and they were obviously going with the sex sells route, what do they expect when the majority of the voters are women? They can't have it all their own way. It's one thing to dress sexy, but they went rather beyond that imo.

Kandy Rain was the weakest vocally next to Lloyd and the twins in this competition so honestly, even if they had the "right" image, they still would've probs left early.

I think if they presented themselves as likable girls, their pasts wouldn't have mattered AS much, tbh. I mean a prime example is Christina Aguilera who when she first came out as a solo singer was so bubble gum pop, she could give you cavities but then decided to ditch that and go all "Dirrty" and although she lost some of her fanbase, she gained a whole other one because she showed attitude, personality, and some charisma. I think Kandy Rain had a point in saying that when you look on MTV you see girls dressed the same way they are but those ppl have a likable factor which is why they're on MTV. PCD were cabaret dancers - some would've leveled them to strippers - and they made a career selling themselves as sex symbols but what worked for them is that they could make girls like them. Kandy Rain failed doing that.

If you make yourself seem threatening to an audience, they won't vote for you.

THANK YOU !!! Sorry my sister ate me alive for not being all oh my god that evil bitch about Danii. She's not vindictive and I hardly think she meant anything oh so evil about it.

Jonh and Edward - I admire their charisma as I thought a lot of the acts were quite wooden but they can't sing and therefore should be gone by next week. I'm just glad they made it through to piss Simon off.

Was it me or did Louis say the exact same thing to every act?

Yeah I hated that Dannii had to apologize last night for saying NOTHING offensive. She never said anything worth apologizing for but ppl are way to hyper sensitive about everything nowadays, esp when mentioning "gay" in a sentence. It pisses me off even more when they jump on someone when that person's so obviously not homophobic. Like STFU and STFD, the press and certain ppl always wanna rile up some kind of controversy.

I know it's ridiculous. Plus I think Danii Minogue is one of the least likely personalities to deliver any sort of low blow, let alone something homophobic. It sucked. It was just a joke gone wrong... Bleh !!!!

X Factor producers have announced that Cheryl Cole will pre-record her performance on the show this weekend.

The Girls Aloud star will be seen singing her debut solo single 'Fight For This Love' on Sunday's results episode.

A show spokeswoman told the Daily Star: "Cheryl will be recording her music performance earlier in the day with a live studio audience to ensure she can fully continue with her judging commitments on The X Factor later that evening."

Cole sang 'The Promise' with her Girls Aloud bandmates on the ITV1 talent programme last year. However, in August it was rumoured that she wanted to scrap her planned solo spot because she was too nervous about going it alone.

Sunday's episode will see the 26-year-old sharing the performance bill with superstar Whitney Houston.

Well according to her, the reason she's prerecording is she doesn't have enough time to get ready and perform to then get ready again to get back in the chair in enough time. IDK how I feel about that but either way, aww.
