I don't normally watch full seasons of the show, but now that Kelly is a coach, I'll be watching every week.

I personally think it´s redundant.

Yeah. It doesn't seem to make sense to me because isn't that kinda what the steals are for? And, also, it doesn't give the contestant the choice to pick the coach that they want, so it's almost like taking their choices away from them.
