SYTYCD Season 7 - A season of changes, and all we want is America's Favorite Dancer!


So You Think You Can Dance
Season 7



Changes
  • This season will not have a top 20, but only a top 10.
  • The partners will change every single week, and the partners will be previous contestants featured in an All-Stars Dance Pool.
  • Contestants will no longer choose their dance genre each week, but rather choose a partner, and dance in their specialized style.
  • Only one dancer will leave the competition each week, not two.
  • The finale will not feature four contestants this season, but only two or three (the exact number has not been announced yet).

Kathryn - Season 6 - Jazz, Contemporary, Broadway, Cultural

Pasha - Season 3 - Standard / Latin Ballroom

Allison - Season 2 - Jazz, Contemporary, Broadway, Cultural

Ade - Season 5 - Contemporary and Classical

Comfort - Season 4 - Hip Hop and Krump

Lauren - Season 3 - Hip Hop/Jazz/Contemporary

Mark - Season 4 - Jazz/Hip-Hop/Broadway/Cultural

Anya - Season 3 - Standard / Latin Ballrom

Dominic - Season 3 - Breakdance/Hip Hop

Neil- Season 3 - Jazz/Contemporary/Broadway/Cultural

Courtney- Season 4 - Contemporary / Jazz

THIS would be my dream! But someone commented on Facebook that winners would not be allowed back on the show for something like this. Anyone know why?

Me too. I know some didn't like Season 5, but for me, it was one of my favorites. Early Season 5 was not great, but when I think about my favorite routines (Addiction, Mad, If It Kills Me, etc) and my favorite dancer (Jeanine) they all come from Season 5.

Season 5 wasn't my favorite, but they did produce some really good routines toward the end.

Season 3 will forever be my favorite though.
