Oh wow, next week we have our top 20. How exciting!

I find many of the current leftover contestants are favorites, so this could make for a more watchable season for me.

I did find it a little odd of Shankman's emotional reaction to Billy's dancing. I guess this might a thing we'll see in the future.

And I heard a rumor about Mia Michael's not being a part of SYTYCD anymore, is this true? God, I hope not. And Lori Ann, like seriously, why is she on this show? I can't particularly stand her.

It is true, unfortunately.

It really breaks me heart, I feel like she is the best choreographer on that show. As far as contemporary pieces go, while I love Sonyah, Mandy, Tyce and Travis they do not hold a candle to Mia. She is just so original and authentic. She will be truly missed as a judge and a choreographer. Hopefully, she`ll still choreograph every once and awhile.

Michaels, following in Paula Abdul's footsteps, first tweeted the news of her departure Wednesday night. She wrote that she had "five wonderful years to create moments and movement for the world to share with me."

Michaels, who won an Emmy in 2007 for her choreography on the show, has been on Dance since its 2005 debut. She served as both a contributing choreographer and an occasional judge.

Executive producer and judge Nigel Lythgoe released a statement Thursday praising Michaels' contributions to the show.

"We are thrilled to have given a talent such as Mia Michaels a platform to create Emmy Award-winning choreography," Lythgoe said. "During the auditions this season she has helped choose the best, most diverse top 20 we have ever had. She knows that she is always welcome to return later this season or next."

Also found this. With Fox showing the World Series, SYTYCD is going to be all over the place. This is not definite, someone just posted it on the SYTYCD website:

Mon 10/26 - the "Meet the Top 20" show will air at 8:00 Eastern/Pacific (however, it's only one hour)

Tue 10/26 - Top 20 performance show

(no show Wed 10/28 because Fox is airing World Series Game 4 - which brings up the question, "when do they announce who were the first two eliminated from the Top 20, and will they show the 'Dance For Your Life' solos?")

There will be Tuesday performance shows on 11/3 (Top 18), 11/10 (Top 16), 11/17 (Top 14), and 11/24 (Top 12), with a results show the next night **EXCEPT ON 11/4** (either a World Series game will air, or, if the series is over by then, two "Glee" repeats - Fox does not schedule "new" programs in time slots where they may be pre-empted by sports).
