Angelo, Bruno, Els, Evelien, Kris, Lorenzo, Louis, Michael, Noi, Oona, Pablo, Rubien, Saartje, Samuel, Shiobian, Suzanne and Virgil are seventeen of the eighteen finalists of "So You Think You Can Dance ' , as from Sunday, October 11th at the RTL 5 will compete with each other in the spectacular live shows. Through an unexpected twist is also a dancer Marleen next Sunday in the top 18. They take the coveted place of Ine, her final spot at the last moment gave up.

The dancers are now random couples together. Weekly the duo will each task in a challenging choreography in a dance to master. Thus, the seasoned hip-hop dancer such a perfect ballroom dance or modern dance show and a classical dancer suddenly gets the contract to transform a rugged hip hop.

While the three member jury assess the participants from professional perspective, viewers now play a decisive role. During the program, they can vote for their favorite couple. In the following three results show the duo end up with the least votes in the danger zone and can individually prepare for the exciting "Dance for your life '. This is a solo performance with the last chance to still go to the next live show. The jury ultimately decides the final two dancers from the spotlights go. The adventure stops every Sunday for one male and one female participant.

The jury consists GTST-actor and former Scapino Ballet dancer Jan Kooijman, Nicky Vernieuwe Ballroom-/Latindanseres the Belgian and American choreographer / international-SYTYCD judge Dan Karaty. In some transmissions will take place a guest judge after the jury table. The presentation of "So You Think You Can Dance" is owned by Dennis Weening and An Lemmens.

After eight live shows, the most favorite dancer or dancer home with a renowned dance choice in education abroad, a cash prize of 20,000 euros and a role in the musical "Hairspray."
