I'm pretty sure they do I would hope so atleast if the winner gets a million then second should get something. I think they do they just don't make a big deal about it for survivor like they do Big Brother.

BTW if Amanda win even won of these 2 seasons I think she would go have to go down as the best survivor of all time but the fact that she has lost both times keeps her far from that title but I still consider her one of the best players, she just can't win with the jury.

Oh and what the heck was with Natalie's question? I thought she just hated men but I am now convinced she is a lesbian and I loved James and Jeff's reactions to her question

I always feel weird coming into threads that I've never really posted in before but I just wanna say how I feel too.

Reading through some of the posts, I found it funny that some of you said that you lost interest in the season and that you didn't like who was in the finals or whatever. Funny just because Jeff stated numerous times tonight that many people have said that this was the most exciting season since the first. Just found that ironic. Haha. I definitely thought this was by far one of the better seasons of them all. Especially from a strategy standpoint. I mean almost all of the jury was full with blind sides. It doesn't get much better then that.

I thought that Ozzy made himself look like a damn fool at tribal tonight. Grow a pair, seriously. It's a GAME and you were outplayed - get over it. I honestly thought he was going to cry, goodness. And then his proclamation of love to Amanda.

I was embarrassed for him. And I'm a fan of his. I was happy to see in the reunion that he and Parv were fine.

Wow, Chris, I cannot believe we disagree on something. That very, very rarely happens but I do not agree with one thing that you said.

Stupid women's alliance? Really? Definitely smartest move in the game IMO. Especially for Parv. That alliance owned everybody throughout the latter half of the game and to say it was stupid...well I just can't even see that 1%. And Parv did nothing? Wow. I thought she did a hell of a lot. Aside from Natalie - who was phenomenal strategy wise - I thought she was the 2nd best player out there. She made all the moves she needed, made all the alliances that she needed, and let them go when she had to. Her game was close to flawless in my eyes.

I definitely see how you all can see Amanda has the best player in the game I guess, I just don't agree. She was very good but if she didn't win those last few comps I believe she would have been gone and that's not "best player" material for me. And obviously she rubbed people on the jury the wrong way but I do not believe that Eliza didn't vote for her because her voice was annoying. Definitely not, obviously more was put into that vote then that. I do love her though, I've loved her since last season. But, again, last season I didn't think she deserved to win. Todd by freaking far was the best player in the game and he won rightfully so. I think she was more deserving this year then last.

Anyways, closing my novel, I'm extremely ecstatic that Parv won. I'm shocked - but ecstatic. She was my girl who I was rooting for since day 1 and it's very nice for me when my choice comes through in the end. She definitely deserved it.

wow, I disagree with everything you said Meg. that's crazy, so unusual for us.

well I'm glad second gets money too, so at least Oz and Amanda will leave with a little chunk of change. plus him getting second on his season.

too bad Amanda got third last year

as for her being the best player, honestly I don't believe ALOT of the winners were the best. dating all the way back to Australia, when Colby was a better player IMO than Tina. I don't think just because you win doesn't mean you're the best. I honestly believe Amanda is one of the best players, if not the best of Survivor. she is [at least] the best player to have never won.

that's for sure. I love Ozzy to peices, more than any Survivor ever, but Amanda takes that title for me since he did get like 9th place lol.

LMFAO I said the EXACT same thing to me mom. for awhile I thought she had just had a bad past with men, maybe someone was abusive or something, and after that I looked at my mom and was like "um, yeah I think she's a lesbian." but yeah, her questions were weird.

and ITA with your whole post Chris, except the part about Cirie since I was happy Parv won over her. I just wish it had been Amanda. love James, but I wish it had been Ozzy or Amanda to win the 100k too. I love that they were the highest vote-getters though, my fave three of the season were the fan faves!

Well okay let me rephrase what I meant first off I said that the womens alliance was very effective and it probably was the best move in the game. I didn't mean it was stupid like it was dumb I just called it a stupid womens alliance because I hate the idea of an all womens alliance. It almost never works but this time it did and it worked out brilliantly. And I really think Parvati making that alliance was her only great move and it was a great move but I think she did the least in that group. Natalie,Cire and Amanda were the ones that did most of the work so I just think she was the least deserving of the 4 but I still think all 4 women were very deservingly players. I just love competitive players and felt Amanda deserved to win because she won her way to the end if Parv one even one of those comps then I would give her more credit. I agree Amanda would have been out weeks ago if she didn't keep winning but she did keep winning.

And Todd totally deserved to win last season over her but I think she played great last season and even better this season and it just sucks that she came up short again but I guess she just leaves a bitter taste in the jury members mouth or something because she can't get them votes for the life of her.

But once again I will say all 4 women were very deserving of making the Final 4 even If I wasn't their biggest fan.

Yeah well to be honest I only wanted Cire to win over Parv because I predicted that Cire would win

I actually think Parv and Cire's games were almost equal I think Cire did a great job convincing people to do what she wanted and I think Parv did an excellent job getting the women all together so I think they were both deserving I just felt Amanda deserved it alittle more because I am huge on comp victories and she had the most out of the 3 but I'm starting to realize that doesn't mean crap in these reality shows.

And I was also happy they were the top 3 vote getters especially since I heard nothing about the voting and didn't even get the chance to vote.

Yes, I think that the runner up gets $100,000. So, she did get a nice chunk of change for her efforts. I would have rather seen Amanda win than Parvati but Ozzy was my favorite and he left the game a long tima ago...

IA. I think Parv and Cirie had a game that was pretty much the same, I really don't think either one was better than the other. but throughout the season I just liked Parv better.

I didn't vote either, ughhhh. but yeah, I'm glad they were the favorites, I still wish Ozzy would have won that though, then they'd both be leaving with 100,000 dollars and a fabulous adorable relationship.

as for the Rob/Amber thing, lol I didn't elaborate on that. I loved them as a couple, but didn't really like either by themselves as people, I love Ozzy and Amanda so much seperate, and together, so I like them more lol.

IA, all four deserved to make the F4, game wise. but I really hate Nat, and don't care for Cirie. the last half of this season for me was purely personal, after Ozzy left. based everything off of how they acted, who I liked, etc. but all four did deserve the money. just wish it had been Amanda.

honestly, I think the whole tribe after getting to the merge [minus Eliza and Alexis] were great players, and a few of them just happened to make one dumb move. this season overall was just awesome. I would have preferred some things to be different, but it was still a great season. the best ever, to me. I really, really got into it. as much as I love BB and GG, this was my favorite show to watch these past two and a half months.

ITA Cass I got more into this Survivor than any other Survivor except maybe the first one(which was really to long ago to remember) and I enjoyed it much more than this season of BB.

I guess that I am the odd man out because I did not care for this season. I hated all of the backstabbing and blindsiding that occured. It was too much like a bunch of HS girls being bitches... IMO!!! LOL!!!!

Yeah I was surprised with how much I liked this season I was very skeptical of the fans vs favs but I thought it made for a great season. It was one of the most hard fought, drama filled, surprising seasons ever. In another season if 3 players left due to something besides being voted out it would probably ruin the whole season but with this season it barely made a dent. Then once Ozzy left and the women started to take over I said this is way to predictable I'm done watching but it was still very exciting to watch. The womens alliance were just brilliant and the guys just made are gender look like a joke

And all the blindside tribal councils were just great tv from fake immunity's, to back to back hidden immunity's not being used, to Amanda's brilliant use of the hidden idol, to poor Erik pulling the dumbest move in Survivor history to the surprise Final 2. It was an amazing season and too be honest I disliked pretty much everyone except Ozzy, James, Amanda and Erik and for me too still enjoy a season with only liking 5 people is pretty amazing.
