I do love my SCD. Great to have the show back!

Anyway....early thoughts: Gary is awful. Wow. I was cringing through that routine. Have to admit the waltz isn't one of my favourites so I wasn't that wowed by Austin but he did look good. I liked Tom's dance - thought he did very well for week 1. The rest of the dances were a bit boring for me...was disappointed Mark wasn't better but am willing to forgive him because...um, look at him

John is very sweet but seeing him do a Latin dance might be...worrying!

I didn't really warm to Phil so not too sad to see him go but I am disappointed that we lose Flavia so early. I love watching her dance.

For the girls I thought they didn't look as promising as last year's girls - but those group dances always seem a bit chaotic. Looking forward to seeing them dance this Saturday.

So far, my favourites are Lilia/Don (Lilia is my favourite pro so I always support her

) and Mark/Hayley.

I think Lilia's great - I love her choreography.

Hayley really reminds me of Cate Blanchett. And Mark seems really nice.

I really like Karen and Erin of the pros but I can't support Gary Rhodes

Glad Erin has Austin - he seems nice and good!

Which of the female celebrities are you looking forward to watching?

Yes, Austin seem great too. There's a good selection of guys this year.

You're right! Hayley does look a bit like Cate Blanchett!

Lucky her.

Mark is quite good looking.

For the girls, I'm looking forward to seeing Lisa/Brendan and Rachel/Vincent. I'm not really a fan of Rachel, but do think she'll be quite good. Christine is sweet on The One Show, not sure how great a dancer she'll be though. Hopefully she'll be great.

I'm not much of a fan of Rachel either but I think she looks like she could be good

Quite interested to see Lisa and Brendan too. Christine does seem really nice and I really like Matthew - I can imagine that they'd get on pretty well. Anyone else find Jessie wallace's hairstyle really distracting?

Jodie Kidd looked like Bambi on ice! I thought she'd be better but maybe she just needs a bit more practice.

Speaking of Matthew - I loved how on the Sunday show in the clips they showed of him and Alesha, when she says "I'll be voting for Matt every week" he said, "I might buy your record"

I LOVE those two together, they seemed to get on so well.

Oh me too. She was my favourite ever contestant they've had on the show. I was so pleased when she won.

I was happy when Mark won but with Alesha I'd have been so upset if she'd lost. I liked Matt but I thought Alesha was fantastic. And I love her Muttley laugh

I wish Gary had gone on Saturday, he was a bit useless and I've gone off Karen since her win with Mark

Thought John would be rubbish but him and Christina have something about them

Her laugh is hilarious.

I think I was one of the only people in the country that didn't want Mark to win, he was amazing, but I preferred Matt/Lilia, for obvious reasons.

Yes, John and Christina were great. Not sure if he'll be as good with the latin though. But I do love the underdog so you never know.

Matt annoyed me in the first couple of weeks and I could never bring myself to like him after that. I did think he and Lilia were good though.

Random - I don't really like James but I thought it was so cute when he kissed Ola after their dance while Bette Midler was singing. I "aww"ed

Really sad that Phil & Flavia went

Flav is my fave female pro, so to be robbed of her in the first week is sad. Either result would've been said that being said, b/c Lilia is my fave female pro too. I think Don has potential, so I hope they can carry on for a good few weeks.

John was so charming in his Waltz with Kristina. Just wanted to give him a big hug.

As for Gary...no words. He & Karen should've got the boot imo. I'm not a fan of Karen either, so I wanted them gone, lol.

It was so awesome to see Alesha & Matt do their Cha Cha again. I love that dance SO much (just for the intro

)
