Anyone else watching Strictly this year? Any early favourites?

Alesha Dixon with Matthew
Gabby Logan with James - eliminated in Week 4.
Penny Lancaster with Ian - eliminated in Week 6.
Stephanie Beacham with Vincent - eliminated in Week 2.
Kelly Brook with Brendan - retired from competition Week 9.

The Guys

Willie Thorne with Erin - eliminated in Week 3.
Matt di Angelo with Flavia
Kenny Logan with Ola - eliminated in Week 9.
John Barnes with Nicole - eliminated in Week 8.
Dominic Littlewood with Lilia - elimated in Week 5.
Gethin Jones with Camilla
Brian Capron with Karen - eliminated in Week 1.

I'm loving SCD already this year.

Yay for Kenny staying last night!

My favourite performance from week one was definetly Dominic/Lilia, it was so full of energy and fun.

I think Dom could be a surprising dark horse.

Out of the girls I'm liking Penny/Ian and Kelly/Brendon so far.

Argh. I just accidentally deleted my post

I'm sad that Karen is out because she's one of my favourite professionals but I do think Kenny has more potential than Brian did. Plus I'm liking the "battle of the married couples" they've got going on. Dominic was way better than I expected.

I think the girls look really good this time round. I think I'll like Alesha (and it would be nice if she did well after Harvey cheated on her with Javine) - she seems fun. Penny and Ian look great together. I love Stephanie Beacham's snarky sense of humour too.

Not too keen on the separate results show on Sunday, I liked it being announced on the night.

Same here, I think Karen was one of the best pro's on the show so it's a shame she had to go. Her performance with Mark Ramprakash from last year was simply out of this world. As you say though, I see Kenny having the potential to improve as the weeks go on, and the rivalry between him and Gabby will be fun.

I think Alesha will be one of the top three girls along with Kelly and Penny. She used to be in a band so she has an advantage in that she's used to learning dance routines and performing them live.

I hope she does well.

I agree about Alesha and I think she has a great teacher in Matthew, he did really well with Carol last year.

I didn't think John Barnes did all that well to deserve top position

I can't remember what they said happened to Kate, it must have been some sort of dancing injury. But she's able to dance next week.

I'm really liking Alesha and Kelly out of the girls and Matt and Dominic out the guys.

Lets hope she is not as wooden as Fiona Phillips

I'm not fan of the X Factor when it gets down to the finalists, I'd rather watch the loons at the beginning
