Same . I fastfoward some of the judge comments, the recap, and even some of the segments about the contestants lol. I just dont care about anyone until the top 20 is picked really.

I love the academy week, its fun to watch. Cant wait for the jazz and contemporary rounds.

Interesting way they revealed the Top 20 last night! But twist! Only the Top 10 will go to the live shows, so more cuts next week!

I knew something was odd when they were revealing the top 20 on the stage. Is this season going to be shorter then with only a top 10? Or are they ONLY doing pairings mixed with all stars? UGH i hate the all stars, I miss the old format so much.

As for cuts... I’m bummed, I liked the red headed guy in the beginning portion so much! I thought he did a great job.

I also liked the weird looking girl bridgette, I thought she did great too and didn’t agree with that decision either.

The top 20 is decent. For the girls the only ones I really want to go through are:
Jensen - the blonde salsa girl
Emily - the 18 year old girl that travis loved and said would be in the top 20
Hannahlei - the asian girl that stood out a lot in the contemporary round

The guys i honestly dont remember well but I like:
Evan - the tapper (i think he almost made it last year?)
jay jay - the bulkier black contemporary dancer

Well, I think it was gonna be a shorter season anyway (budget cuts), but not sure what’s gonna happen once the Top 10 is revealed. If All-Stars come in then or they’ll partner with each other. I’m just glad they didn’t do the All-Star thing at the beginning of The Academy week like they did last year. Hopefully, the All-Stars are just there to help narrow down the Top 10.

Fun episode...

I liked the tapper so I was bummed they let her go, I thought her contemporary was fantastic. I also liked Emily so I was a little bummed to see her go as well. Travis said top 20 was hers to lose too so thats a bit shocking. I do hope she comes back.

Syndey’s routine was very awkward to watch and she didn’t grab me so not sad to see her leave. Stephanie wasn’t memorable to me either. I didn’t really care between the final 2 but I did like Chelsea a bit better so I was okay with Dayna going home.


Glad to see the cute asian girl (who’s name I cannot remember) make it in the top 5 as well as Jensen. I am glad the ballroom girl made it too because she did a great job in the contemporary piece. I dont really like Hennesy so I wasn’t that thrilled to see her go through tbh. Was okay with Chelsea but need to see more of her.

Jensen is my favorite by far as of now, she is so good.
