Episode 9: Shane

Shane's Take on his Road Rules Team

MTV: What is your take on what's happened?

Shane: First, I wanna say, CT is ogre and brutish, not only in manners but in appearance. Can't wait till he's voted off. Cannot wait. I'm tired of my team right now. They're grossing me out. If I hear about how good Timmy and Abe are one more time, I think I'm just gonna puke in front of them. It's like they are the leaders of the Road Rules team. They yell at me for not listening yet, last mission, all they did was talk each other up into a frenzy about how to do the mission. They don't listen at all. Darrell, who's one of our best competitors, never gets volunteered for ****. Nobody ever recognizes the fact that he's won two out of the four or six missions. He's done consistently better than Timmy and Abe. Yet they never mention it, they never notice it. They just gloss right over that fact. It's sick. I don't know what's going on. I'm tired of hearing about them, though. I almost wanna vote people off just to make 'em shut up.

MTV: What do they think about you?

Shane: I don't know. I don't care. It's not it's not even about that. I just feel that, out of me, Darrell, Timmy and Abe; Darrell and I are performing consistently better than Timmy and Abe. Like, hands down, you just look at our performance as a whole, we have won and succeeded more than they have. Timmy is the better climber. Abe is the worst out of all the four of us, yet Abe is the one who's allotted the most.

MTV: You should speak up more.

Shane: I'm not trying to piss anybody off. I'm trying to be their best friend. I'll wash their backs in the shower. I'll tell them they look cute. That's my job. Wanna be their best friend; wanna see what happens. Two more weeks, I'm outta here. Hopefully 200,000 dollars richer or more.

Sometimes I find it SO hard to believe that is the same Mike from the first few episodes of "Back to NY".. Also how now he has this great frienship/bond with Coral.

Inferno episode 6

The mission this week- The Ultimate Saturn Road Trip. This mission sucked for us, not only did we lose but we didn't even win once. We had to team up and our philosophy was we wanted a girl and a guy just in case one of the girls couldn't do it. David and Julie went first and did well but still lost to Timmy and Abram. Coral and I went next and I flew up the net but when I was coming down I noticed that Coral didn't even get to her bag yet. So I took the net and made it really tight for her but she still couldn't get up. After 5 minutes of her trying I was aloud to get the bag myself. They didn't tell you all that on the show. We weren't aloud to get the bag until a 5 minute time limit set in. Let me tell you it sucked when I had to climb back up because my hands were already numb from pulling on the rope. Then I had to climb again when I got to Coral's bag it was stuck. The lines were crossed so I had to untangle them. Meanwhile Coral was about to fall and I must say I was about to give up because my hands were about to fall off. But sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do. I finally got the bag off the line, gave it to Coral before she fell. We got down and Coral got caught up on a rope. I think what Julie got upset about was that Coral didn't run to the car, she walked. It really didn't matter because we had to find a key but it was a matter of hustle. I think Coral was just upset and fatigued from the net. We found the key and drove around the tires and lost to the Road Rulers again. Next was Syrus and Leah which had to be the funniest climb of the day because Leah used Syrus's head as a step. That had to really hurt. She finished which really impressed me that she didn't give up. When you saw David stretching Syrus's hands that was no joke. When you're up on the net for 10 minutes your hands get numb and it's hard to move them. Especially when you're not used to climbing. We were hoping Katie was going to DQ to give us a chance at winning but she pulled through for her team and finished. So Road Rules swept us away.

The Inferno meeting seemed to be really easy for us this time because Coral nominated herself and as soon as she did that she called out Julie and Mallory and Mallory also stepped up. So we were like cool it's settled and all good. This is the way we needed our meetings to be because when you're confident you'll win and both of them seemed confident. All of a sudden 10 minutes later Mallory was like I don't know if I want to go anymore. We were like what??? Julie basically told Mallory that Coral's strategizing and is playing the game and manipulating people. Well my take on that was Mallory didn't have to say okay I'll go. She could've kept quiet and we'd have to vote. But she didn't plus I was confident with having two strong girls go in. Since Mallory was having second thoughts we went back into the meeting room to talk about it and that's where David went off and I loved it. It was funny because that kid will blow up at any given time. We decided to put Mallory in because she did nominate herself. I'd have to agree with what Mallory said about everyone being manipulative in their own way. It's definitely just not Coral like Julie thought it was.

On the Road Rules side it's so much easier. No drama what so ever which pisses me off. Why do I have to be on the team that has the drama every time? Oh wait I remember I'm on the Real World side our only job on the show was to create drama. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

Out of the people to pick to go to the Inferno we chose Christena because Katie messes up so much and doesn't care about any of the missions. So she's definitely staying till the end because we feel she'll lose it for them or they'll throw a mission just to get Katie out of the game. Our whole team came to an agreement that no matter what Katie will stay in the game if it's in our control.

On the other side they chose Mallory because they think Coral lost the Gauntlet for us and they think she'll do it again. I wasn't aware that they wanted Coral their till the end. It was almost like them saying that Coral was our Katie. Which I don't think is true at all. But whatever.

So it was Mallory vs. Christena which is a really ironic Inferno because it always seems like in all of these Challenges theirs always two best friends going against each other. Remember the Gauntlet when Sara went against Rachel and they put them as best friends. Well here it is in the Inferno best friends going head to head. How funny is that? I love how they edit this show. I can actually see things unfold now. I hope I would after my 4th show. I love the trash talking between Mal and Chris because it was so light hearted and I'm big on trash talking. I think it makes everything more fun. I'd always mess with Darrel aka Princess in height missions because I knew he was afraid of heights. It was funny and made it more interesting. It was mean hearted just friendly trash talking.

In the end Coral and Julie were arguing for the millionth time. They fought all the time. That was true hatred for one another and it was quiet funny to watch. I've always said I love watching Coral argue because if you aren't a fast thinker and can't get your words out Coral will leave you in the dust. That's exactly what she does to Julie. Coral was very impressive with that. Hell she impressed the hell out of David. We'd be talking and he was like damn that girl can talk. I was like yes she can. I'm surprised they didn't talk about the alliance yet. CT, David, Julie, and Mallory formed an alliance. The thing was Coral was outside the door when they were talking about it so Coral caught that. That's another reason why Coral was arguing with Julie because Julie would lie about it. David and CT were like yeah we did but it's over but Julie would be like dude it never happened. See everyone now who's the manipulator. Yeah this game is very dirty but if you're head strong and physically strong and have the will power to do anything then you'll do fine. Some people are too sweet and innocent to play this dirty game. I wasn't mad at them for forming an alliance because as fast as they formed the alliance was about as fast as it was over. Because Coral went right back to Syrus, myself, Coral and Leah and told us. I kind of wish they would've showed that because then you'd of understood why Coral doesn't like Julie.

I must say I just came to the conclusion that this is my favorite challenge I've ever seen. The editing is really good and the show always makes me wonder what is going to happen next week. I'm excited to see the next episode. The Gauntlet didn't really do it for me. Plus I think this show is really pretty to look at. The intros awesome and the music is pretty dope too. The house looks sick on TV. So this is definitely my favorite challenge. On to the next episode.

Inferno episode 7

Oh how cute they do the whole best friends episode with Christena and Mallory. I love these episodes because they have such a great build up.

Also how cute is Darrel and Leah? I love this because it takes away from me having a relationship on the show. Finally I�m not the only one talking to a girl on the show. I mean look at all these beautiful girls. I don't know how people don't form more relationships on the show.

The mission this week- Don�t yank my chain- This was definitely a pain mission. How much pain can you take before you yank the chain? This thing was so painful. All you want to do is drop your hands because your back tightens up and your shoulders are burning. Plus it's really boring because you�re just standing their doing nothing. The only thing you really think about is how much pain you�re in. Especially after 4 and half hours. Oh yeah before the game the Road Rules team decided that they are going give Christena the lifesaver and all she has to do is beat Katie. The worst thing Christena could've done was tell Katie because that lit a fire under her ass. So now Katie was fighting to stay in. I kind of wish Christena won because then I wouldn't have had to stay in for so long. I was talking trash the entire time especially when Darrel went out. When there was just myself and Leah left I was ready to give up but everyone started yelling at me to stay in. All of a sudden I got a second wind and my mouth started going again. I thought it was a dick move by Shane to yank the chain and not tell the person you're pouring it on. The reason being that that could make you accidentally yank your own chain. I think that's what Shane wanted anyway. But it didn't work Katie stayed in. I love when they show Christena pulling the chain and then the life is sweet song goes on and Katie's smiling. Then Katie drops her arms and it lands on Veronica. Then they have Katie saying I'm glad it was Veronica. I almost died laughing. Alright did anyone watch when my bucket fell? It really didn't fall now did it? They had to look at it in an instant replay and they told me that I went delirious and yanked on it just a tab. Now that I saw the show and actually what really happened. I'm a little pissed because if you watch I didn't yank it. Hell my hands were up way higher than they needed to be. I think the wind tipped my bucket because those things were really loose. One of the judges actually came over and said that I didn't yank the cord that the wind knocked it over. So the directors went to the back and watched the tape and said I did yank the cord so I believed them. Well watching it now I didn't yank that cord, they lied to me. Watch the show and let me know if you think I yanked that cord. Maybe I'm seeing things.

The Inferno- Mallory vs. Christena.... Noise Pollution for 2 hours. Let me tell you how annoying that sound was. It 20 times worse than a car alarm going off. We didn't have to listen to it but we listened for a bit and turned it off because it was so annoying. Plus they're just standing there. I thought when Timmy did that little announcer thing was so funny. I couldn't stop laughing. After the 2 hours passed they had to stand on this little block. The girls were going strong balancing. This was really hard because one little flinch and you'd be done. Plus the noises could lose your concentration. I thought for a moment Christena was going down but she regained her composure. Mallory was looking strong then all of a sudden she went down. It sucked to lose Mallory because she's such a sweet girl. I don't think the challenges are for Mallory. She's definitely physical enough and is very competitive but she's not a dirty player and she's very sweet. I love that girl. She's really great. Good job to Christena for staying up.

Wait, Coral and CT hooked up? Where was I? How come it's not promoted in the show? Because that would be interesting to see. We rarely see Coral hook up with anyone! So is this really true? I thought she was a prude or just one hell of a picky person -- or something. [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]

And Coral hooked up with Steven from Las Vegas? Steven as in Trishelle-Steven? Because if so, no wonder Coral and Trishelle don't like each other. [img]smilies/redface.gif[/img]

Also, how cute is Darrel and Leah? I wish they could show more of them, they're so adorable. Did you see how Darrell was massage Leah in the shoulders when she was getting ready for a mission? And when Leah looked like she was having a hard time, Darrell stood up and looked really concerned when he was watching her. I don't know, there's something about this couple that I like. I really think they're genuine.

Leah and Darell are still together to this day, so I'm guessing that their interest in one another is pretty genuine.

None of Coral's romances have been shown on TV except for her first one w/that miscellanous guy. I'm guessing the CT hook up was not shown because she's good at hiding it from everyone.

I know that Steven and her were never shown together because Coral hooked up with him before he made it into the Las Vegas Cast. She met him at the casting audition.

Age Sorry it took me so long to reply... was in FL for the weekend! I emailed Mike and he emailed me back.. hes a real sweetheart... I*m still in shock that he actually read the damn email to begin with! *lol* But yeah... *lol* Guess theres a little chattin goin on... *lol*

When I was in FL this weekend, I went to a bar with a bunch of people that met us down there, and my friend, Sarahs brother said that he went to the same club we went to on Saturday a week before that.. and Abe was there and he sat and talked with them, and I guess he like... jumped off the upstairs into the crowd and they caught him... and Abe was tellin all the guys who all he hooked up with and stuff like that... pretty cool, I just wish he woulda been there when I was there... just like me to be a week late to the *good* parties... *LMAO*
