There wasn't a whole lot of stuff going on in the trailer, but it does look as if it's going to be an old school real world season. It doesn't appear as if it's going to be like Cancun

I just looked at the cast photos. Eight roommates again. It's always weird looking at this people the first time.

i visited my friend in DC a month ago and I ran into a few of the cast members at a bar in georgetown. I was taking pictures while they were filming and the blond castmember was getting really mad at me and throwing me dirty looks. emily was super nice. she shared her beer with my friend and she even invited us to hang out with them at 3rd edition (a club in georgetown). we ended up going to the club but they weren't there. anyway, the season looks a little boring.

I'm watching the After Show now. This cast is kinda a mess. It's so hard to tell in the beginning, though, and the way they edit these people on the show.

Just started watching the premiere on MTV.com. Andrew is going to annoy me

andrew is funny, but his problem is that he can easily offend people so I think he needs to tone down some of his comments. :/ and his whole funny guy attitude is clearly a front because hes very insecure. JMO.

josh has a girlfriend, I have no opinion of him yet really, but he does act like hes too cool for school which is annoying.

Ashley drives me nuts. You can tell she just thinks shes always right.

I have no problem with mike or ty as of yet. I actually could see both point of views, and i myself am right in the middle, but I def. think that religion is just a touchy subject and you cant change peoples opinions by arguing, so its a lost cause.

erika seems cool, I also like the other brunette, she seems friendly... emily?

callie seems like a total stuck up biotch, IMO. lol.


so my favorites right now are emily and mike.

and the aftershow thing is stupid because it kinda ruins things. i mean, we know that ty and emily arent on good terms now. pft.

I completely agree about Andrew and Josh, Ashley, and Erika. I don't think Callie is stuck up, but I don't really have a defined opinion yet on her or Emily.

Mike and Ty kinda remind me of Davis and Tyrie from RW Denver. Personalities aren't really the same in the comparison, just the relationship..if that makes sense. It's only been one episode though, so the relationship could turn out to be completely different.

Anyway, I really like Ty so far, but the preview for the season made him seem like a really rough guy, so we'll see.

Alright, I guess I'll give my first impressions, too. I'm well aware that it could change in the near future (it usually does).

Ty He seemed cool at first, but now I'm not sure. I don't care what his opinion (or anyone else's) is on religion, but I didn't like that he said "there isn't a God" and was so rude about it. I wouldn't have cared at all if he phrased it just a little different and said "I don't believe that there's a God" but he clearly saw that Emily & Mike believed in God and proceeded to tell them that there isn't a God. That's a little annoying, unnecessary, and rude. Oh well... We'll see how the season goes. He didn't impress me much on the After Show either, although I'm curious to see how his relationship with Emily plays out.

Mike He seems like a sweet guy. I don't predict a ton of drama coming from him, but sometimes people surprise you.

Andrew Wow, my initial impression of him was terrible! I thought he was so annoying, cocky, and just plain ridiculous. As the show went on though, he got a little more bearable, and even a little funny. He was better on the After Show, as well. He seemed shy on the After show even. I don't know though, he may still bug me....

Josh No real opinion yet except he kinda bothers me. Not attractive like he comes off as, and doesn't do much for me.

Emily My favorite girl by far (so far, anyway!). Cool chick.

Ashley She is going to be a handful. She needs to be quiet sometimes!

Callie Not much of an opinion yet. She seems fine!

Erika Seems like a cool girl! I don't like her singing voice much, though.

Agreed! From the After Show as well, it seems like Mike & Ty are good friends now!
