Obviously I don't know Baya's reasons but I'm just remembering some of her interview videos when she was going through the selection process for the show. At one point she said she doesn't really like being tied down and at the time was dating about three different guys. Now I know they became "official" in September and then a month later she broke up with him so maybe it got too serious for her.

This is pure speculation on my part of course. I hope they can stay friends at least, especially if he moves to the city. One week until his special!

When does Ryan's show air? I saw a preview for it and Baya was crying. This is going to be hard for them to watch now that they aren't together.

I'm watching Ryan's show right now. This stuff with Baya makes me sad knowing they didn't make it.

I almost started crying with Aaron leaving off to Afghanistan.

Momma and Papa Conklin are unbelievably strong.

Iraq is very eerie, especially at night.

I am so proud of Ryan and what he is doing for our country. He's got such a big heart for his friends, family, his squad, and even for Iraqi civilians. I can't wait till he comes home.

I'm definetely going to be buying his book when it comes out next year.

ETA: Yea, when Ryan came home in Sept? they made things official and then a few weeks later, she ended things. From the special tonight, it's clear she was having a difficult time with Ryan's deployment and talking to him about how she really felt. She twittered that she's thinking about him today. I don't doubt their love, just the timing probably wasn't right with Ryan in Iraq.

It's so sad because Ryan seemed to really, really like her! Maybe they'll find their way back someday.

Ryan is fantastic...I'm glad I watched the show. What a good man.

gah, im so sad for Ryan. I cant wait for him to be discharged. I agree, he seemed to be more into Baya then her him. I'm just sad she couldnt wait for him. I WOULD! Its freaking Ryan! <3.
