I love how Slade is trying to domesticate Jo ... too bad it's just never gonna happen. Although, what she did with his kids for Father's Day was nice, and unexpected. And how they raced go-carts, and his dare was her to dress in a french maid's outfit and clean. And she's like "what's Pledge?" ... Ah, I love it. And then there's the whole "Shane has a thing for Jo" thing ... which was expected ...

Kimberly's whole skin cancer thing is so depressing. I can't even imagine. She was told she was gonna die and she didn't. And now it's not looking good.

Lauri has such a handful. Her juvenile son and her spoiled daughter ... but I have to admit, she's definetly a MILF!

Vicki is umm ... well, she's just a little ... nuts! I feel for her daughter Brianna. Her boyfriend Colby is just like ... whatever. That's what I would do, too.

Jeanna is different. Sometimes I think she's a nice, normal mother. But, she kinda scares me. She is forcing Shane and Colton to be in baseball professionally. And then her daughter, another spoiled one ... and then the whole line about "her husband's mother chose her for the right DNA" or something to that effect. It's just a little too much.

I love the show, I confess. I can't wait to watch tonight's episode. Oh, what will these people be up to this week ... I'll be back with a mini-review.

Tonight's episode ... wow!

Where to start...Lauri's little beach photo shoot was very nice. And I wasn't too shocked when she got picked to go to the Playboy party. I felt kinda bad for her son, though. When she suspected him of stealing the $4 dollars. That was pretty low.

Vicki's trip home was interesting. I wasn't a fan of her mother. She was pointing out so many flaws on Vicki ... kinda makes sense why she's so anal. And I found it amusing her husband was saying all her high school friends were dorks.

The whole Shane/Kira rivalry was amusing...especially Kira's expensive shopping trip and Shane's whole "I'd be sad, but no go crying about it" ... had me rolling. That and the two of them couldn't spell, or use in the right context, the word consciencious.

Kimberly's POV was very sad. All her regrets and just ... it was so honest and personal. I was glad she got to have some fun with her daughter and take them out to a spa. It was amusing when they got in trouble for making (harmless) prank phone calls. And thank god, the news came back that she's gonna be ok.

Now, onto the major POV tonight ... Jo/Slade. It's over! Well...as over as it can be for this episode. Was I shocked? Not really. It's upsetting but I felt both couldn't really commit to eachother. On Slade's side, he wasn't asking for much from her. On Jo's side, maybe she was just too young to settle down. In any case, it's a shame they had to end it that way ... I didn't think Slade was a jerk with what he said ... I agreed with him. I don't feel Jo ever really committed to Slade ... it was all about the lifestyle.

Thanks for the welcome, TheKen! Yup, I'm so addicted to this show...it's a sickness, really.

Last night's episode: I think Jo needs to do some growing up. Slade was right in saying that 24 shouldn't be an excuse anymore. I mean she admitted she didn't want to have responsibilities...come on, you're not stupid enough to think that you're going to have responsibilities especially when it comes to marrying someone who has kids and who has responsibilites of his own. These two were never compatible and I think them breaking up is actually a good idea. Probably the most wisest decision they'll both ever make.

I'm glad Kimberly is okay. It's pretty scary the stuff that she goes through. But I like that she has a positive attitude! Oh, and the prank calling her kid and her friends made while in the hotel...I thought they were so going to get in trouble for that. I was right...and the funny thing is they think they didn't do anything wrong.

Lauri - sometimes I think she's trying too hard. Yes, she has a great body for a mom but sometimes I think that she should set a good example, especially to her crazy, spoiled daughter who doesn't want responsibilities of her own. I like how in the final episode next week she throws Ashley out! I also really felt bad that she didn't trust her son. That was so wrong of her.

Vicki - control freak! You know, how she is with Breanna is going to backfire on her. Breanna's a great kid, she has morals and values. Vicki needs to back off. She's a good kid and when you push her, she might do something that Vicki might regret. When she showed up on their date, I was like (theme from Psycho insert here) Anyway, I don't blame Vicki's mom for being so aloof...Vicki has changed, you can tell. And I d how her Mom was ragging on her about her hair being yellow! "It looks like that arch on the McDonalds sign!"

Jeanna - She really does spoil her kids, especially Shane. That's her baby! Oh, and Kara spending over $2000 on clothes . And Shane getting an Audi Wow, these kids are spoiled and the funny thing is...THEY KNOW IT!!! I have to say I d the interaction between Shane and Kara. Love/Hate relationship...but you know that they're there for each other when push comes to shove. Oh and conscientious!

One pairing I would have liked to see is Breanna and Shane. You know the dinner (or lunch?) that Breanna and Vicki had last week and Breanna mentioned that she and Shane used to hang out during freshman year...I think they have the same values and they would have made a great couple!

I know ... I was kinda glad Slade finally said what he was thinking ... and it really wasn't an excuse. I wonder though, in the finale, if they'll get back together. Probably not...but I wouln't be shocked.

I love how Slade left Jo, dated Lauri, and then ran back to Jo.

I know! And now Jo and Slade are together...unofficially! Drama, drama, drama. I actually like the idea of Lauri and Slade together. I think that's a better match.

My god, Vicki is so neurotic! I don't know how her kids handle her...my goodness! I would have gone crazy by now.
