I've been watching new years episodes. I'm watching all the friends ones today! i dont really like new years but trying to appreciate it this year.

yeah it does.

1) it signals the end of holidays and break, which is a bummer.
2) it makes you feel really lonely when you dont have plans/anyone to kiss.
3) its always a let down lol. at least, in my experience.

I've had maybe 2 fun new years but even those werent that great. maybe if i had a boyfriend it would be fun but i never have a boyfriend during the holidays it seems.

last year none of my friends did anything fun so i ended up going out with my friend amanda and her boyfriend just to do something and i was the third wheel all night.

it was horrible.

this year I'm at the beach with my mom.

i think we are gonna get dinner but urgh I'm already dreading it because i know its gonna be a letdown.

Every year, my friends say, "We need to find you a guy this year, Jessica" and yet, they never do.

thats kind of annoying. i hate when people try to butt into my love life. I'm all about being single this year. i dated a few bad eggs. but in a year from now id like to be dating again. it'd be so nice to have someone over the holidays.

as expected new years was lame. i went out with my mom and we went to the casino. I'm not a gambler but i did win like 40$ so that was nice! haha. but in all it was pretty boring. i love my mom but i dont really want to hang out with her. i kept seeing groups of friends and couples and felt so lame. URGH.

i think next year i am just gonna stay home and watch Netflix.

Im heading home tomorrow. this break has felt SO LONG. but I'm looking forward to winter, i really hope we get some snow this year. we didnt get any last year.
