Anyone watching this? It's not the best show out there but it's not that bad. I don't really have any favourites but I do like The Clark Brothers, The Likes of You, and Sixwire.

I think Northmont was totally robbed. They were the ones who got to audition twice in the first episode. I thought they were pretty good (certainly better than Dot Dot Dot, IMO) and I sure could've looked at the lead singer week after week. Those eyes!

I watched this and thought it was pretty good. I like the Clark Brothers. I liked Tres Bien too.

Did anyone get eliminated yet?

Nope, no one has left yet. The top 12 bands did their first performances this past Friday so the first band will get eliminated this week.

I thought that I had missed it I think that the kids should go home, but they probably won't.

I'd love for them to be eliminated too. Them or Dot Dot Dot. I really dislike both of them.

I guess that's probably why I don't like Dot Dot Dot - because they are just like all the other faux-punk bands out there these days.

It definitely is missing a certain something that AI and SYTYCD have (although I don't watch SYTYCD). I think it's the fact that it's not live but I do understand why since I think they all play with their own instruments and that'd take too long to set up between acts.

The show definately isn't as good as SYTYCD and AI.

I thought that I would like Dot Dot Dot, but they weren't that great. It may have been song choice though.

Man, well, there goes The Likes of You. That sucks. I can't believe that big band got more votes than them. Boo. I didn't like The Hatch so I'm not bummed that they're gone too although it did surprise me that 2 bands got eliminated.

I really dislike The Muggs, Rocket, Dot Dot Dot, and Light of Doom.

I forgot that it was on yesterday I'm surprised two group went home. Was the Likes Of You the group with the guy the judges said wanted to go solo? If it was, I really liked them. I don't remember if I liked the Hatch.

Did they perform new songs too?

I'm not sure if that's the same band - I actually rarely listen to the judge's comments (I find them all too annoying) so I have no idea.

Yes, they performed new songs. The host guy would go into the backroom where everyone was waiting and he'd announce one band that would get to move on and they'd go and perform 2 songs (1 original, 1 cover - this week it was Elton John/Bernie Taupin songs), and then they'd do it all over again.

I keep a Notepad file of all the shows I watch along with airtimes otherwise I'd forget all my shows too.

I'm happy the Clark Bros and Tres Bien were safe. I also like Dot Dot Dot a bit. I think Denver needs to work on his vocals, but thats just me.
