| Laguna Beach #3: Season 2 - TWICE the Drama  Welcome to the Third Laguna Beach Thread! The Real Orange County.... It's one of the wealthiest, most beautiful beachside communities in the world and MTV has unlimited access to the tight-knit power clique of eight rich, beautiful teenagers that live there. Their lives intertwine in ways you won't believe, until you drop in for a visit. Laguna Beach is paradise--a little slice of heaven on earth--why would anyone want to leave? The answer will come as you watch the best friends share experiences through parties, relationships, love and small town injustice. This is where the angst and the tumultuous affairs are the stuff of prime time drama, except this is all REAL. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Welcome to paradise, otherwise known as Laguna Beach, California. Season 1 Cast   Stephen A senior who lives the So-Cal dream: surf, sand, and plenty of girls. His good looks and charm make him the most sought after guy in Laguna Beach. Always the life of the party, Stephen has ...unless you count making a commitment. Born and raised in Laguna, Stephen takes full advantage of having the ocean as his backyard, from skim boarding before class to working at the local surf shop after school. Stephen's senior year should be a breeze, especially since he's already been accepted to his number one college choice for fall. The only real dilemma he has to deal with is juggling all the girls in his life. Two girls in this clique want to make him their own. Before the summer ends--who will he finally end up with?  LC Lauren, or "LC" as her friends call her, was voted "Most Irresistible" by her senior class. This beautiful Laguna Beach local has grown up immersed in the wealth and privilege of "the bubble." Along with her best friend Lo, these OC girls spend their time shopping, sunning and searching for guys. With so much going for LC, including a mansion built by her architect father on a bluff overlooking the Pacific, it's going to be hard for her to leave all of it behind as she heads off to college to study fashion design. Luckily Stephen, her close friend since childhood, will be attending college in the same city.  Kristen A party girl, Kristin is a junior who rules the popular clique of her class and holds her own with the seniors. She's confident and sexy and always gets what she wants, especially when it comes to her turbulent relationship with Stephen. Having moved from Chicago to live with her dad in Laguna, Kristin is the newest addition to this power clique. Strong-willed and assertive, wherever Kristin goes, drama follows  Christina The daughter of a TV preacher, Christina must navigate the choppy party waters of her senior year in Laguna with her wild friends while keeping her morals in check. Luckily she has her best friend Morgan by her side to keep her in line. Already accepted to her college of choice, Christina must now deal with the dilemma of going to school or pursuing her dreams of singing and acting.  Trey Best friends with Stephen since childhood, Trey is a senior and the thinking girl's hunk. He's passionate about politics and activism and has a sharp sense of style. When Trey's not organizing open mic nights to promote his non-profit organization, Active Young Americans, he's designing many of his own clothes, including a line of trendy hats. With life decisions right around the corner, like will he get into his dream school, NYU, Trey must figure out if he'll focus on fashion or politics, and how to take the movement he started in Laguna to the next level.  Morgan Also a senior, is Christina's best friend and a bubbly extrovert who loves to hang with the 'in' crowd even though it's a constant effort not to let her friend's random minds influence her decision to remain a virgin until marriage. Upbeat and hard working, Morgan is ready to get out of "the bubble" and has applied to only one college. If accepted, she's convinced it's there that she'll find new friends, and a boyfriend, who share her beliefs. The one dilemma: will she get in?  Lo A blond-haired blue eyed mini fashionista, Lo is Laguna Beach's very own Paris Hilton. She's LC's best friend and always there for her. Smart and articulate, nothing slips by Lo's Chanel-sun-glassed line of vision without, as she feels, a well-deserved, scathing comment. Lo is used to calling the shots with her friends, but her parents are calling the shots at home and even though this is her senior year they still have a few months to decide when and where she parties.  Talan Attractive and athletic, Talan's a junior, but has hooked up with most of the senior girls in school. A surf champ, star quarterback and volleyball pro, the Laguna girls have a hard time resisting his charm. Season 2 Cast  New Main Cast Members  Jessica Last year, Jessica was with nice guy, Dieter. This year, she’s with Laguna’s bad boy, Jason. And what a difference a year makes. One of Kristin’s best friends, Jessica loves hanging with the girls. When it comes to chaotic relationships with boys, she can’t seem to get it right. It’s her last year at Laguna High and it is filled with drama. Will Jessica stand up for herself or will she continue to date the wrong guys? She’s also hot on the latest gossip in town -- and isn’t afraid to kiss and tell.  Alex M. Along with her best friend, Taylor, Alex M. is part of one of Laguna’s most popular cliques. But she and Taylor don’t get along with Kristin’s clique. Alex M. has an eye for fashion and an ear for music. Laguna’s reigning drama queen (she’s President of the Drama Club at school), she’s always the center of attention. And the Laguna boys -- one in particular who has a girlfriend -- can't resist her.  Taylor Taylor is the classic Laguna girl: blonde, beautiful, loves to shop, and considers the beach her second home. Everyone likes Taylor, especially Talan. That is, everyone except Kristin, who used to be one of her good friends. It seems that there can be only one Queen Bee in Laguna. But this nice girl isn’t going down without a fight.  Jason If Stephen was the senior boy in the center of the most drama last season, Jason is sure to be it in Season 2. Jason is Laguna’s hunky bad-boy who surfs, plays baseball, and breaks girl’s hearts. Wild and unpredictable, Jason always has a prank up his sleeve. He has certainly caught the eye of Jessica and Alex M. But is there a girl in Laguna who can tame him? | Here's my two cents from the first episode (by the way just two weeks ago did i get hooked on this show) Yes it's obvious that Stephen likes Kristen but now that Kristen is over him I think he should be the one to move on. Yes, I also think that LC needs to move on, but if you are saying that and that Stephen hasn't or shouldn't, it's sorta hypocritic, right? I still don't like Kristen and have always felt that LC and Stephen would make a great couple. Stephen does play with LC's mind, but I do think deep down he likes her too and if he could get over Kristen, I think that Stephen and LC have a chance. Other thing, the christmas party and when LC and Stephen go out to dinner probably wasn't the next day. You know how the film stuff. Also where are these kids parents? | LC'sFan I think the song is Sonund of Settling by Deathcab for Cutie. I think Stephen needs to realize that Kristin obviously cares a lot for him but wants to move on. It's not a crime to be 17/18 year's old and want to explore your options. Kristin is a beautiful young girl who probably just decided that she wanted to see what else was out there. I know Stephen's hurt but he was acting really immature about this situation last night. He shouldn't have called her and wanted to meet up and then not even talked to her once she got there. That was really immature. I think he was trying to make her feel sorry for him, but she didn't buy it. She knows she's hurt his feelings but she's also not going to get back together with him just to make him feel better. She knows if she wants Stephen she can have him. I like that she's being mature and not leading him on though. She's telling him "Hey it's over but I would like to remain friends but that's it." The whole Stephen/LC thing is kind of funny to me. While I think Stephen does like her, he's just using her right now. He's like any other guy. He knows Kristin doesn't want him right now but LC does and that makes him feel good. He's obviosuly physically attracted to LC but I'm not sure he sees her as a girlfriend. I guess we'll have to wait and see. LC will be at his beck and call no matter what. I like her a lot but she needs to find someone else until Stephen is over Kristin. | |||

| So I enjoyed last night alot. I m so ready for a LC/Stephen hook up or something. I've been rooting for them since the first season first ep (never liked kirsitn...) There's just soo much chemistry and LC seems to be more "girlfriend material" at least of Stephen is looking for a real relationship. | First off I must say that I miss the old cast. I would like to see Trey, Deiter, Morgan, and Lo a lot more than they are probably going to be shown. Kristin is smart for moving on. She is in her senior year and like most other people just wants to have a good time.Stephen needs to realize that its over between them. He looked so sad and deserves someone who would make him happy. (LC!) I want to see what will happen between these two. They really do seem to care about eachother and you can tell that they take eachother seriously, not wanting to risk their friendship. I loved how he complimented her... too cute. Jessica and Jason are cute together but I already now that somethings going to happen between them. Alex, Taylor and Casey are ok... but Alex is going to get on my nerves. I can feel it already lol. | I definitely miss Trey. He was my FAVORITE. It sucked that he only got like 2 seconds of footage in the first episode this season. This cast seems so much more dramatic and buggin. I loved how season one was really down to earth and not just filled w/ a bunch of bitch talking and stuff. | Trey needs more air time, but I guess he's not part of the drama this season. Oh well. Once again Stephen is going to string along both girls or maybe just LC. Kirsten doesn't seem to care much for him right now. It's smart to break it off with him. You can't have a good relationship when someone is away all the time. It gets hard. | |||

| I don't really care who Stephen hooks up with...but he should be with someone who makes him happy. The only girl who did that in last night's episode was LC. At least he laughs and smiles when he's around her. The fact that they can sit in a car together and sing is what makes me think that maybe they could work out. Also, I don't know if I believe that the only reason Stephen hangs out with LC is because he's not with Kristin. Weren't Stephen and LC friends since they were little? They were best friends before they even knew Kristin, so I think Stephen hangs out with LC because well, she's his friend...not just because Kristin's not in his life right now. __________________ puck&quinn | |||

| Yeah, Stephen and LC are friends so it's fine for them to hang out. But LC throws herself at Stephen every chance she gets. I think Stephen is attracted to her, and enjoys the attention but he's in love with Kristen. At least for now... Clearly, the drama that is Kristen/Stephen/LC is not over based on the previews. And did I see Kristen with Talan in the previews for this season? | |||
