Anyone else watching this? I recently got SoapNet, so I caught half of season two of the series and actually enjoyed myself. Most of them could not act their way out of a paper bag, but it was still fun. As for this seasons group, I actually think there are a lot of talented people who could go all the way.

I actually really enjoyed Season 2. I never saw Season 1. But, since I watch AMC, I was into Season 2.

This season it's a part on OLTL, right? I don't watch that soap, but I still may tune in since I enjoyed the show last season.

Mel: I was a HUGE AMC fan, but gave the show up a few years ago. I started watching again after I began watching IWBASS a couple weeks ago on SoapNet. I wish they'd done more with Alec (S2 winner) than put him in the lame role of Del. I didn't like Del the first time around and I don't like him this time either. I wish they'd created a new character for him that was somehow involved with Babe. When Alec/Alexa did their final scene for the judges, I thought they were terrific together.

This season of IWBASS is for OLTL. I don't watch the show, but I thought that it would be fun just to watch the contestants.

Nichole - Cool. I've watched AMC forever but I've had periods where I haven't watched.

I'm in total agreement about Alec/Del. Total disappointment. They could have done so much more/better.

I did check out the premier episode of IWBASS. I spotted a few I like. This week will be interesting. Yes, I'm sucked in as I knew I would be if I started watching..

It's such a shame to see how much AMC has gone down the tubes. I was reading somewhere that the writers on AMC were so impressed with Alec, that they extended his contract. I wish they'd do something with Del. From what I've seen in the past two weeks, I know that I haven't been impressed.

Do you have any favorites so far? I think the girl who had her hair slicked back at her audition needs to go ... the one that is a tad bit "out there."

I used to watch AMC, back in the day. Haven't lately though. I just mainly watched the whole Babe/Bianca babies storyline. Cause the acting was amazing.

I watched season 2, haven't started on season 3 yet. I'll have to catch the reruns.

Yep, totally agree about AMC.

This is why I end up taking my breaks from the show when I do. Something usually gets me tuning back in eventually though.

Funny that they've been impressed with Alec/Del. They haven't even done all that much with him. And like you said..........I think it's just the character.......who really cares about him. No one and that's the problem.

I'm not sure abut favorites so far. I'll pick out a few after this week's epsiode.

I agree about the "out there" girl.

othbaby: At least you can watch all the episodes back to back when they're in reruns. I hate having to wait a week for the next episode.

Mel: I don't really like the one guy that has been in all the action movies. He seems to be a tad bit too arrogant for my taste.

What did you think of the last episode?

I'm still not a fan of Kelly (?)............the "out there" lady. I was hoping she would get eliminated. But, I wasn't too upset with the judge's decision because I didn't care for the guy that was eliminated either. It wasn't his performance that bugged me that much though..........it was his voice. He did not have a good soap voice.

There are a few that I like so far.

I was disappointed to see Lukas go last week. I don't know what was up with his voice, though. His whole performance was weird. I had liked what I saw of him in the premiere episode.

Did I see correctly in the "this season on I Wanna Be A Soap Star" ... Mikey and Kelly were making out? I know Mikey was making out with someone, but I wasn't sure who.

My favorite is Beth Ann.

I liked Lukas in the premier episode too. But, in this ep his voice really bothered me........not sure what it was because I don't remember him sounding like that. But, he was one I originally liked.

It did indeed look like Mikey and Kelly..........but I'm not 100% sure ot was Kelly.

I still don't have all their names/faces down, but if I'm thinking of the right one then Beth Ann is one I like also.

I have to go on th record and say that Cameron Matheson is HOT. I don't think that man has a single flaw ... physically at least.

Could Lukas have been doing the voice as part of the role? He really was pretty bad during that scene.

Out of all the girls that Mikey could have gotten involved with, he picks Kelly? Ew. Plus, he has a GIRLFRIEND. Wasn't he the one going on and on about having been faithful to every girlfriend of his?

I do seem to remember Mikey saying that. I can't stand Kelly, so that's just yuck.

I thought last night's episode was BORING. I wasn't sad to see that girl go, though. It was sorta nice to see that they didn't keep her around because they liked her accent. I feel like that's the reason they kept the girl from last season around as long as they did. She SUCKED as an actress, but she had the accent and big boobs. Anyhow, back to this season ... Mikey is a horrible actor. I wish he'd go because his looks are not going to make up for his acting. I was surprised to see Dean in the bottom three ... he seems to be one of the more talented contestants.

Just watched it today............and yep........boring.

I wasn't sad to see her go and I agree about the lady last season with the accent as well. I felt the same way and it irked me that they kept her aorund so long.

I was very shocked about Dean being in the bottom this week.

Once again have to agree about Mikey.

I hope next week is more interesting.
