It was cool to see them after Wicked, but you know the thing that annoyed me the most about the sing off is ALW went back on his word. At the first sing off he was like I'm only going on what I hear in the sing off. And he did for every sing off except this one.

I know he wasn't there but he should have stuck to what he said he was going to do.

It also annoyed me with the fact the the one who got kicked off really didn't get bad criticisms from JB, Denise, and Barry. The one who was saved I thought had ok, criticism, but it wasn't screaming Save Me.

People who just go back on their word annoy the heck out me. I know it's just a show, but that kind of made me lose a bit of respect for the guy (ALW).

K,

I'm done venting now.

I really sad about Fran. I thought she was an amazing performer and the person who most naturally fit into the Nancy mold. I like Ashely but I think that as you said Nicole, it should have been based on how they sang as opposed to the judges comments. *shakes head* I'm also so over Sam I can't see straight. She bores me to tears and I think that is far too young to play the part. Both Jessie and Sarah are also young but their is a maturity in their presentation that I never see with Sam. Too me it just felt like Sam was trying to hard and she had pitch problems as well. Meh.

I can't believe who was in the bottom two this week. I think they were expecting another person there and then someone would have gotten saved again, and the correct person would have been voted off this week, and then next week the other person would have gone.

Gosh I love being vague, it sounds so funny that way

Finally catching up...

Man did ALW looked pissed at the end with the choice he had to make!
I think this was the first time he walked off stage while the song was still on?

I'm not surprised that Keisha went home. She was better this week, she has fantastic voice, but I just didn't warm up to her. I guess most of the audience might feel the same way.

I think Ashley might be the next one to go. Than, hopefully, Samantha. I honestly don't see why the judges are always so full of praise for her.

Then I'm really not sure.

Jessie and Rachel are still my favourites.
I didn't like Jessie so much this week. I agree with what they said, she lost a bit of herself and it showed. I think this was her worst performance so far. But when she brings it on, she's fantastic, and I'd pay to go see her. And more than once.
As for Rachel, I like her as a performer. But I find something lacking. I'd like to see her perform, but I doubt I'd pay for more than once to go see her again, if that makes any sense.
Still, those two are my fav ones.

Then Jodie, Sarah and Niahm.
Am I forgetting anyone?

How would you rate them so far?

BTW, I wanted to say about spoilers - you don't need to be careful because of me. I don't mind knowing who was voted off before I watch it.

Anyone still watching?
Who do you think will win next week?

I must say I'm surprised with who got kicked out last night. But can't say I mind.

BTW cute article about girls here.

I haven't seen the most recent ep, though I do know who got voted off as someone rambled about it in someones LJ.

I spent this weekend catching up on episodes 9 and 10 tonight I will watch 11.

But to say I've got no idea now who will win. If the audience votes the way they've been, I may be slightly disappointed because she's been dropping in her performances.

You mean Jessie?
Yeah she wasn't at her best lately.
Still I don't think Sam is much better. She just got lucky because they played more to her strength with choreographed songs so she got to dance a lot (and she's great at that), but she's still dead behind the eyes to me when she has to do slower songs and show emotions.
And she's even worse at acting than Jessie.
But they seem to want a younger Nancy, so I wonder if 6 months will be enough to prepare them if one of them wins.
I doubt Sam will because she had the fewest votes this week.

BTW I couldn't stop laughing at the judges, especially John and DVO, in the results show. You could so tell they weren't happy.
But if they didn't pamper the girls from the start and gave them advice and pointers maybe they'd be better by now. They have no one to blame but themselves.

I'm happy Jodie won! at first I didn't really like her but I've grown to her,
I don't think ALW and CM were too impressed though.

Not sure about the Olivers, but they weren't given the focus the Nancy's were, they seem to fit the part though.

I loved Gwion, I knew he was going to be an Oliver from the first time I saw him. The other two guys, eh not so much.

I'm so glad Jodie won, she deserved it. If ALW and Cameron didn't like her so much then why do this type of show and have it down to the people's vote.

I think Jessie has tons of potential, she just needs training. She's got the vocal, now some drama school, just needs to give her the acting training.

Sam was eh for me the whole time. Glad she came in third. But I also think they need to change the format of the show a bit. If they want people to vote on all around performers, they need to show the acting "missions" on Saturday nights before people vote not after people had voted.

Jessie and her "Star Quality" were annoying me by the end, nothing against her just CM and ALW's blatent favouritism.

CM should get over it, he's going to make lots of money from this, the public chose Jodie, and they will pay to see her, if he wanted to choose himself he shouldn't have made up public.

I'm not too bothered about the Oliver's either way to be honest, I'm glad they focused on Nancy rather than Oliver.

Oh yes, that was a big problem.

Here are my thoughts about the finale, I'm copy/pasting from my LJ.

Woot, congrats Jodie!!
I especially enjoyed her performance of I Have Nothing tonight!

It's no secret I wanted Jessie to win.
And OMB, her ALAHNM was so so brilliant! I got goose bumps and got teary eyed. I don't do stuff like that! Could be that I knew while watching that she didn't win and liked her performance so much so that got to me, but that really was a fantastic performance.
Also, The Man That Got Away - marvellous once again.

Performances with Olivers were adorable. All three pairs were wonderful and fun to watch!
Jodie and Lawrence and Jessie and Gwion especially kicked ass for me with cuteness.

And ZOMG, first group performance that was brilliant! Maybe This Time. *swoons* Now see, they should have brought in Liza ages ago if that's what it finally took for the girls to sounds good as a group.

And Lee!!!! So good to see him again! \o/

Other than that - dear Bob, ALW and CM weren't very subtle, were they?
Get over yourselves boys, Jodie will do a good job. You can always hire Jessie for some other role.
