Yep, I definitely believe that to be the case. Lo is probably exactly the same person she was on LB but that Lo doesn't fit this storyline so they had to twist & turn it to make her look as evil as possible because that's what they need.

I finally caught up and watched the 2 new episodes.

Lo ; I think she is nice but they are just trying to make her look bad.
I know, why isn't she in the credits? She appears more in this season now that they live together. Audrina was being mean and I think that hurt Lo's feelings. I was like aw...

Spencer ; Haha, yeah I think he's disowning everyone! lol.

I think its sad how Spencer and Heidi no longer have their friends since they got together. I mean what is up with that? Something must be wrong? All they have is each other.

I think Lo is getting a lot of flak for being HONEST. Audrina does not matter to her, Lauren shouldn't trust everyone. These statements are TRUE. And if they happen to not be nice well so what. People don't always have to be bubbly.

And I'd rather her be upfront instead of people like Jen Bunney, Heidi and Stephanie. I feel like the only person who manages to be nice and bubbly and not fake is Whitney but she and Lo have different personalities AND different positions on the show.

ITA. I definitely think that Lo is getting much flak for being honest. Audrina was Lauren's friend & not Lo's so why should she care? And they are making it out to be like Lo isn't doing anything to be friends with Audrina (which again - why should she?) but Audrina isn't doing anything either. They're completely ignoring that fact.

Yeah I don't get why the pressure is put on Lo. We haven't seen Lauren go to Audrina and ask her to be included in Audrina's music/grungey friend world. The truth is that Lauren doesn't really want to hang around Audrina's friends so then Lo gets blamed for Audrina feeling uncomfortable around the who Brody, Frankie crew.

Lauren and Audrina need to find some common ground or just hang out alone without the interference of either one of their other friends.

Exactly, Lo gets blamed because Lauren is this little angel that can do no wrong. I've only seen Lauren extend herself out to Audrina once and that was when she went out with Audrina & Justin Bobby - and Lauren complained the whole night.

I just saw an ad for it so I thought I'd come over here and remind everybody - Tonight at 7:30 EST a new episode of The Hills will be airing. Obviously, it's not during it's regular time slot so I figured some people might have forgotten about it. I think they're doing it to get a nice lead-in for the VMAs which are also tonight.

I'm not entirely sure if I'll be able to watch the new episode tonight or not.

It was a really good episode. Is it possible to simultaneously love and hate someone? I loved Brody calling everyone on their stuff but making Stephanie cry sucked. Just because I know if I had a serious problem (like drugs) and was honestly trying to change, I wouldn't want someone to keep bringing it up and make my new friends feel like I'm untrustworthy. Other than that, Brody rocked as usual.

It was a great episode.

I wonder if Spencer would disown his own mother if she was friends with Lauren, or what if his whole family were friends with Lauren.

I'm sorry I still don't see where all this hate for Lauren comes from....tape or no tape. Although....maybe Spencer hates Lauren so much because he actually is in love with her.

I don't know guessing. Just that sometimes it comes across like he just settling for Heidi.

And I love both Lo and Whitney

Yes there is a thin line between love and hate. I think the hate for Lauren comes from the fact that he had to settle for the second banana and when Lauren realized what a user he was, she put her opinion out there.

I think Spencer has such a strong hatred for Lauren because she used to be such a big part of Heidi's life. Spencer is a jerk. Plain and simple. He doesn't want anyone else in Heidi's life but himself and when him and Heidi first started dating he wasn't the sole reason she got up in the mornings.

Heidi had other friends. SHe had Lauren, her best friend and I think Spencer hates Lauren for the simple fact that she was Heidi's best friend and held a special place in Heidi's heart. Plus Lauren made it clear that she didn't like Spencer. I'm sure his hatred stemed from that too.

Just my opinion.

Honestly, I think Spencer hates Lauren because it keeps him famous. If he didn't hate 'L.C.' then what would he be in the media for? He's a publicity whore and knows that this feud is keeping his name in InTouch Weekly. He won't let it go for a longgg time.

I missed last night's episode.

I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to watch it and I wasn't. Hopefully it'll re-run soon enough.

I don' t think Heidi had other friends. She went to a high school with 7 people in her graduating class and she met Lauren in college. She even said Lauren was her first best friend. I think Heidi had her sister and Lauren as the only friends. That's why she clung to Jen Bunney and Stephanie because she wants girlfriends.

Now she only has Spencer, and to me she looks lonely...A LOT.

Now for Spencer, I think he has control issues. He likes to control everything and everyone. Brody, Stephanie, and Heidi. Lauren recognized that he has all the qualities of an abusive boyfriend and pointed it out to Heidi as well as her mother. That freaked Spencer out. Hence his beef.
