Did you guys notice how he held onto her when he "Surprised" her at the house? Seriously had I been Heidi I'd feel like i was being suffocated.

And the questionable commentators wouldn't happen to be 36 Mafia wouldn't it?

They actually sound like they watch the show or if they never did they watched like highlights of it and just drooled on Whitney the whole time

I think the most epic moment should have been "You know what you did" instead of the "I want to forgive you and I want to forget you" lol

I had forgotten about Three6Mafia but yes, questionable

I was actually talking about the girls from "My Wife & Kids" and "8 Simple Rules" two shows that were over/ending when The Hills started. And Brittny "Can I buy a vowel?" Gastineau.

ahhh I get what you mean, but it I think it works with the age range and the demo is towards them either way.

Oh my god you guys. An episode of The Hills where stuff actually happened

Quelle surprise!

Seriously, the plot moved forward. We got some foreshadowing, Lo and Audrina confrontation was interesting. Lauren's date wasn't just a bunch of looks. Wow! Dare I say, The Hills has returned to s2 form. I didn't even need the (very good) preview to redeem the rest.

That was actually thoroughly engaging the entire way through.

I actually really liked this episode. Lo/Lauren are the so adorable together. They seriously have an awesome friendship.

I thought it was so rude of Audrina to say "I just don't care". Lo was totally willing to talk through it.

I liked this episode too.

It was rude but for Audrina to behave like that, I think Lo must have been doing something to piss her off. Because you just don't go from point A to point Z.

There is definitely something going on with Lo and Audrina that we haven't seen. Audrina would not be that rude to her without Lo being rude to her first. At least that's what I believe. I think Lo has been a jerk towards Audrina several times that we just don't see.

The episode was decent to me. It just comes off as so fake to me, especially all of the Heidi/Spencer scenes. Heidi can't be that stupid to be with someone like that. I think they give Spencer lines to say, for sure. They gave them that plot of having Holly (Heidi's sister) stay with them, and now she will be living with them soon, I'm sure. It's so incredibly fake to me now.

Doug seems nice actually. Too bad he goes out with Stephanie later and ruins that. But it seems as though Brody and Doug are going to gang up on Stephanie in some way? We'll see. I liked the episode, I just wish it wasn't so fake.

I agree with Audrina that she and lo don't need to be friends but her delivery was a bit harsh.

I don't know if Heidi is so dumb she excuses Spencer (or if it's just made up for the cameras, though Holly seems a bit too down to earth to do that) but I do believe that Heidi has given up some parts of her dignity to be with Spencer and make a "career" for herself.

Spencer is too controlling. It is obvious to me that he is scared for Heidi to be close to anyone but him. Having Heidi's sister in the house freaks him out because there are so many red flags in their relationship, her sister, could convince her to leave him.

For example, Holly asked Heidi why she wasn't telling them about her relationship. Heidi has closed herself off to her family and if you think about it Heidi has no girlfriends to talk about things with. That's why she threw herself at Audrina when she and Spencer went on "relationship vacation". I think she is in a dangerous and silly situation with Spencer

I would go as far to say that Heidi used to be just like Holly one day. Heidi grew up on Colorado with the family of hers that seems to be really great. LA, being on TV and especially Spencer has completely changed her.

I love how Spencer was so pissed of Heidi's sister was there and yet even though she doesn't like Spencer she was being super nice and even cooked him breakfast.

The previews for the season looks good. looks like both Lauren and Heidi miss each other unless the preview was misleading which we know they can be

It does look like they miss each other, but I'm sure they mislead at least Lauren's side SOMEWHAT. I doubt they become friends again, but their encounters are always interesting, so I hope they have one!

I think the Hedi Spencer scenes are the ones the writers come up with while the Lo/Audrina stuff is strictly editing department. I also think Lauren might be the reason why her and Brody are not dating. Maybe she told MTV she don't want to fake a romance anymore. As much as I loved Lody LOL I always felt their scenes felt flat and rehearsed like their first date, but when they are friends you genuinely see their friendship coming out. Now this Doug guy and Lauren actually looks real and not alot of looks that MTV tends to make Lauren do lol. And Whitney's basically the only real person on the show for me. Have we ever seen her house before? I'm glad they are not working for Lisa Love simply because she scares me too

but that new boss they have is scary too

Enjoyed the episode. Great premiere... definetly on the lines of S2. Everything just kept moving.

Lauren's date with Doug was cute!

The car ride was a little awkward.

I felt for Audrina because she is being shut out, but at the same time, Lo had a point that she wasn't really working with them. It made Lo come off as the bitch for coming to see Audrina, but that was quite admirable. But, I also understand why Audrina was mad. So, I guess I am staying neutral, can't commit to either side.

I liked that Lo actually went to apologize to Audrina about leaving her birthday party. That was big on her part. I get that we haven't seen everything that went on between those two, but still, Lo seemed to genuinely want to give it a fresh start. Audrina was completely closed to the idea, that's sad. It takes two to make a relationship better... On another note, Audrina's real friends really do seem SO different from Lauren and Lo...

I liked Doug and I liked how Lauren felt bad for leaving him all alone during the party...

Spencer is unbelievably rude and does absolutely nothing to give a good impression to his in-laws. I mean, Holly's probably going to tell everything to her parents. Not a good way to get in your father-in-law's good graces, Spence.
