I definitely agree with that. I always thought that is what they were doing. The show needs a new villain since Spencer isn't really doing anything except being a tool. Unfortunately Lo fit the bill for them.

The show from the beginning was like a scripted drama to me so I expected that.

I'm pretty sure I read a not-so-blind item about a couple (Speidi) who has a deal with a major tabloid (Us Weekly) for exclusives to their engagement, "break-up" and finally their wedding. It's a shame that they've moved from being scripted on tv to scripted in real life.

Heidi and Spencer deserve one another. I'm so sick of them whoring their relationship around to any magazine or TV show that will listen to them. Heidi is delusional and Spencer is manipulative.

Yeah I just read somewhere that they've got over $3 million from deals with tabloids including a major deal with Us Weekly but they only get the Us Weekly money after they provide them with 3 stories.

Question: Why does Us Weekly think we want to read about Spiedi?

I'd be interested in seeing how many issues of US Weekly are sold when Heidi/Spencer are on the cover versus other issues that don't have them on the cover. Trust me, if I didn't get it in the mail every week, I certainly would not be buying an issue that focuses on them.

Us Weekly is one of those magazines that I used to read whenever I went to my friend's house cause she had a subscription or I'd pick it up in the nail salon but I never bought it myself.

Same here. Or I flip through it in the check out line. Very rarely do I actually purchase it. It's what I call a "rag."
