| I just started tuning in and I definitely think A&E has found its gem. I can see the similarity to other celebreality shows, but I think it's awesome that Gene's kids aren't tragic, attention-seeking drug addicts. Anyone check out the last episode with the Bikini Car wash? :-) This is guy is full of ideas! | |||

| when i first saw the commercials for this i thought it was going to be horrible, b/c i'm not a Gene Simmons fan AT ALL. but since i'm addicted to all things reality, i tuned in, and i love this show. it's hilarious. the kids crack me up how they constantly make fun of him. i can't believe that Sophie is only 13 though!? she looks sooo much older than that. Nick is a little cutie, and my gosh, i love how tall he is. i've definitely started to look at Gene in a whole new light now, he gives off this persona of being this big player, which he is to a point by being surrounded by women all the time, but he's so loyal to his family. i saw the Bikini Car Wash episode this week, the family portrait part of the episode cracked me up, b/c Shannon was so opposed to the idea, but hey she got a car out of the whole thing. __________________ ~  Keish~R.I.P Brad Renfro [1982-2008] | |||

It seems like it has some good special features including: *All 13 episodes *20 page photo album *A bonus Gene Simmons biography DVD *Lost songs: Gene and family singing on tape *A bonus CD with two new Gene Simmons songs *Gene's input on various rock and roll musicians *Never before seen "couch interviews" with the whole family *Behind the makeup look at Gene *Bloopers from season 1 *The never-broadcast pilot of Family Jewels It's kinda pricey ($41.99) but for all that it might be worth it. | |||

| My family and I watched the show, we really enjoyed it. Nick is great to watch and Gene is hilarious.
