Misty out!

That upsets me SO SO much. I don't even know if I can explain. They were one of 'my couples.' Ahhhh. And I really thought she could be Maks year to win. I feel so bad for both of them.

btw, I couldn't bring the link over from the last thread because it was a link to Maks forum and we can't post links to forums here.

So this just popped up on the LJ flist. Seems like the original report was wrong. Doesn't surprise me since it came from Star Magazine.

I guess it's not as serious as once thought given she didn't break her ankle but if it is her achilles then it's probably still a pretty intense injury. We'll seeeeeeee.

I really hope she comes back but an achilles is pretty intense and painful so I wouldnt want her to threathen her volleyball career...

I don't know, she's an athlete so I think she can take whatever pain comes her way. This is a pretty hard and tough competition. I hope she's ok she's my favorite out of the girls.

While I agree with that, the achilles is a serious injury. It doesn't really matter if you can take pain or not - you tear that and you have to have surgery and you're off it for months. So if she injured it and is in danger tearing it then it would be smart for her to pull out of the competition, unfortunately.

I agree Meg.. I have several friends that have had to have surgery for it..
