Julianne's choreography last year really showcased Apolo's strengths and made him look good. And I think Derek is doing the same for Jennie this season. I really think she will be the surprise finalist. I'm hoping it will be Mel, Jennie and Helio in the top three. Then -- in a shocking elimination! GASP! -- Mel goes home and Jennie and Helio face off in the finals!! Two non-dancers going for the gold (or silver discoball trophy).

I thought their Viennese Waltz and Rumba dances were sooooo romantic and sexy. Jennie's still a little nervous performing but she's starting to come out of her shell. Luckily, it's not taking her as long as it took Ian last season cuz by the time he got really into it, there was no one left to eliminate cuz Joey, Laila and Apolo were better.

If Jennie can have another breakthrough this Monday (I think she's doing the jive and foxtrot), she might finally get her 30!!!

Yep. Got it on my Tivo already!!

Okay, don't think I'm nuts or anything, but this is where each couple stands as of last Tuesday's elimination. Each week's dance is listed on the left and the corresponding grid shows how the judges scored them. First box is Carrie Ann, second is Len, third is Bruno.

The very top row of numbers above the couples' names is the order of elimination. The second to the last bottom row of numbers is the couples' total points earned. The last row of numbers is their average score based on the number of dances they've performed.

Check it out. Even though Sabrina is gone, she still had the highest average score out of everyone!! But, of course, that will change once the remaining couples get more scores.

Right now, Jennie and Derek are 3rd in scoring but not by much. It is still anybody's game!!



Next week, (11/12/07), Jennie and Derek will dance their final two dances: the Jive and Foxtrot. Marie will dance the Jive and Rumba. Mel will dance the Mambo and Tango. Cameron will dance the Cha Cha Cha and Viennese Waltz. And Helio will dance the Quickstep and Paso Doble.

One more couple goes home on Tuesday night and we're down to four semifinalists.

The semis will be on 11/19/07. Last year, Ian Ziering and Cheryl Burke were couple #4 and eliminated in the semis.

The top three will be in the finals on 11/26/07.

The grand finale will be on 11/27/07 and all the 9 eliminated couples come back for a final encore. Then we find out who will win the shiny mirror ball trophy this season!!

I've been voting for Jennie/Derek all the way, as part of my 90210 fanhood duties. I've made a bunch of caps, but only of them. Someone asked for shots from the group dance, so here are a few:



Actually, as I type, I'm sort of watching the rerun of Marie Osmond on "Oprah". They're talking about her fall, her father's death, and chronicling the entire history of the Osmond Brothers' performance legacy in the United States. She also gave Oprah a doll of herself (not a Marie doll, but from the same line, maybe a mini-Oprah). Talk about publicity!

Well, if I make some Jennie/Derek icons this weekend (which is the plan), I'll surely post them here.

I can't imagine a more appropriate place.

And for the disappointed Sabrina fans ...

I watched Marie on Oprah, gosh no wonder she's still on the show there's over 100 Osmonds voting for her, if she wins this I don't think I will watch the show anymore.

I didn't know that there was going to be a special about J/D. I hope that they are the final two, even though I love Mel/Maks.

i would like to see mels & maks and jennie & derek in the finals. even though i love julianne...i haven't been feeling her and helio...and i just don't think he has enough to win it.
