| Deadliest Catch (on Discovery Channel!) Do any of you all watch "Deadliest Catch" on the Discovery channel? I just got into it recently through marathoning some episodes from last season - and it's such a good show! I can't believe those guys go out there and do that everyday, and it's just their JOB. I don't think I'd ever be able to do that - it's so intense that that's how they work day in and day out, and anything can happen - like that time that rogue wave hit the ship. That was such good TV. Anyone else excited for Season 3? What boats do you think will be back for it? (I hope the Maverick is!) | |||

| I caught a few of the 'best of season 2' episodes the other day. It looks like a completely miserable job. Waayyy too cold for me. The rouge wave that hit that boat was wild, I can't believe the camera caught it! I can't even imagine getting thrown into those waters. You'd be swept off in seconds. I wonder how long they are out to sea for, on average. Wonder if the pay is really worth it, I can't imagine those guys doing what they do if it wasn't. __________________ Carrie: Meanwhile, I was finally confident I could heat up my sex life, because I was a sex columnist, I was resourceful, and I was drunkitty drunk drunk. | I could so never do this kind of thing as my job. Ever! But, it's really fascinating to watch it. And I'm so impressed with everything they manage to show on the show. I read an article that said they wereadding a bunch of new cameras to film with for this new season, so I can only imagine what kind of crazy shots they'll get this time around. New episodes start tonight! I'm psyched! | |||
