I honestly think because so many people complained about Tyra week after week (she's was always trending on Twitter during the live airing), that they liked that people were just engaging with the show on social. So, no surprise that she is back IMO.

Was not the biggest Tyra fan, but I really do hope she gets better this season. It was painful to watch her last season...
