so i wanted to start a thread for the new season because last seasons thread went pretty far.

the premiere is in july, so we have a while to wait, but if anyone has any news on the new cast and wants to post it, feel free.

(also yes, BB does have its own board, but i like to post here about it as well! )

Thanks for starting this thread, Andra! I haven't watched this show is years, but I'm considering watching it this summer since not much else will be on and I have a DVR in my room now, so I can record it!

Is it really Season 13? Has this show been on (in the US) for 13 years? I can't believe that! It has to be less than that because Survivor's only been on for 11 years, and this premiered after Survivor did...

BB and Survivor both premiered in 2000, I believe, (Survivor was just earlier in the year) so it is going on 12 years. But they had Season 9 in the winter and season 10 the summer of that same year so that's why it's season 13

i love the show!

i remember when i used to be SO obsessed with jessica/eric and i would up on all the updates. i didnt do that last year.

i hope i have a couple that i really like this time.

Was the "winter edition" the one that aired like around February and had like a "love" theme to it?

The only couple I got into through this show was James & Sarah, but they were technically already together at the time! I did like Shannon & Dr. Will from Season 2!

There was that couple that raced on The Amazing Race, but I had no idea who they were because I hadn't watched BB!

yeah, it was the partners season. it was so slutty and basically sucked. LMAO.

I loved eric/jessica from season 8. And I also was obsessed with will/janelle from sesaon 7. I also kinda liked janelle/kaysar from season 6, though they werent really a couple. they flirted a lot though.

jordan/jeff were pretty cute towards the end of their season, but i wasnt over the moon for them.

i really want to get into another couple because its fun reading the updates and such.

I think I watched Season 8. I'm trying to remember Eric & Jessica, but I can't picture them. I'm usually really good with remembering contestants with the same name as me because I tend to be biased & root for them before getting to know them!

yeah jordan won, but that was season 11.

season 8 with jessica/eric was also the season with dani and evil dick and nick and jen.

I love that Jeff and Jordan are still going strong, definitely my favorite couple to come out of BB.

I hope we have a good bunch of house guests this year - and either no twist, or a good twist.
