New Season starts January 3rd. w/ a 2 hour premiere on the CW.

meh. that chick in the blue bikini top and yellow bottom was totally on an episode of MTV's NEXT. she did a Grease themed date for all the boys. if i remember correctly she was annoying.

IMO those look like the trashiest girls yet. geez that one looks like a crackhead.

i'm still looking forward to the new season. a few of the guys just look really scruffy, i'm sure they will be mildly attractive once they are cleaned up.

Thanks for starting! I love this show, especially the first season. I've been watching the reruns on MTV for laughs, though. I'm excited for the third.

So, I've seen this show advertised and all but I'm still confused. What is this show all about? What do they have to do and what's the prize at the end?

The show is about 8 'geeks' and 8 'beauties'. The geeks are typically socially-inept, while the beauties aren't necessarily the brightest people ever and very shallow. One geek is teamed with a beauty, and the teams all compete against each other in competitions.
For example, in one comp. the beauties have to learn about cars, while the geeks have to learn about fashion. Stuff like that. Its mainly just great entertainment because the geeks are so ignorant about stuff that most people know, like celebrity news. And the beauties are the same way about "smart" stuff. Basically, it helps them because at the end, the boys are more confident about asking girls out and stuff and the girls are more confidant about their brains. *shrug* Its just a ton of fun to watch.

did you know that Cher and Wes are still together? i was a smidge upset about that. i didn't like her at all, and i thought Wes was adorable even before he got his makeover. i was being stalker like and nearly 98% of the cast of the second season is on myspace. the only 2 from season one that i saw were Chris and Tristan.

I watched season 1 but not season 2. I don't know if I'll watch the third season or not.

There's a monetary prize for the winners but I don't remember how much.

Thanks for the explanation stealing kisses. I ended up catching the last few minutes of a season 2 episode last night. It seems interesting. I may tune in for the new season.

I think the monetary prize is $250,000. I think they may have mentioned it in the 5 minutes I watched but I wasn't paying very close attention so I'm not really sure.

Keish, I didn't like Cher either. I loved Josh, her partner, but not her. She drove me crazy.

i watched the first two seasons and found it interesting, since most of my favorite shows will probably still be on hiatys i'll probably watch season 3.

Oh I love this one. There's a third season. Sadly those new beauties and geeks doesnt hold a candle to the beauties and the geeks the first two seasons.

I maybe in the minority here but i did like cher. and Cher and Wes are still together? That's cute.

Does anyone know anything about what the previous "geeks" and "beauties" are up to? I always liked that one guy ... he was a tiny little guy and had like white-blond hair and was just to adorable for words. I don't remember anything about him other than that.

I also thought they were going to switch the concept and have geeky girls and hot guys.

I watched the first 2 season of the show, I did like them a lot.

Cher and Wes are still together? Wow. I wasn't a big fan of Cher, I guess with all of the cast members that said they thought she was there for wrong reasons. IMO in a show like this the money should come second and the expereince first. When they asked Cher what she learned it sounded like she was racking her brain to comeup with the decent answer. I also thought that she acted a lot dumber in her audition than she did on the show. I mean she said roast beef came from Arby's. But when she came to the house she seemed different.

I was hoping that they would do this, maybe in the next season, if they have one. I've seen the previews for season 3, it doesn't seem horrible, so I'm going to watch it.

Just in case anyone was wanting to watch the episodes again, they started to air season 1 episodes a couple of nights ago (for me, the episodes are at 5 and 6pm) and when they're done, they'll air season 2. I've been recording them and I'm hoping I like the show as much as you guys do.
