I am too glad that Ryan is gone...I didn't think they were right for each other.

I loved watching Lanny and Meredith this week. They were absolutely adorable together.

It didn't look like Meredith and Chad had much in common. They didn't seem to talk much during their one-on-one date. They just laughed, which got old quick.

Ian has bothered me since day one and I think the fact that he hasn't opened up to her is going to be his downfall.

Matthew is cute and obviously Meredith likes him a lot. I just don't know if they'll make it long term. I think that a lot of their "connection" is physical attraction.

I am really looking forward to the episode tonight. I think the hometown dates are the ones where you can really start to tell if they are clicking or not.

After I read this that's ALL I seem to notice is Meredith holding a drink everywhere she goes. She even had one on the golf course, I think.

I'm excited to see how the hometown dates go. From the previews, it doesn't sound like all goes well.

People are more likely to tune in to see horrible dates than good ones...I say it's for ratings. Promo people always twist the real story.

Anyway, I always love the hometown dates so I'll be taping then watching.

I can honestly say that I was surprised that Lanny was let go last night. I feel like she had a much stronger connection with him then with Ian. I mean Ian didn't even have her meet his parents. And I really didn't like how Ian's brother was treating her. I mean Lanny's mom was really intense, but you would be marrying the son not the mother. I noticed though that Lanny's sister in law didn't even call him mom by her name, she called her Mrs. Lawrence and that kind of made me laugh. I am really starting to think that Matthew is going to be the final one. She just seems to glow when she is around him, and she seemed to mesh with his family really well. Oh it was also kind of funny when she was with Chad's family and she didn't even know that he was unemployed. Hmm I wonder how he dug himself out of that hole.

Well, as much as I liked Lanny...I did NOT like his mom. You can tell she wears the pants in her family and her son's families! She mentioned that she would expect Lanny to be the head of the household and for his wife to be passive and be there for him whenever he needed her. Lanny just sat back and said nothing, which tells me he is a mama's boy and lets her run his life. No thanks.

Then there's Ian. I really thought he'd be the one to go until I saw Lanny's date. Ian's brother seemed like he was interviewing Meredith for a job for goodness sakes. He seemed like a jerk, not friendly at all. Plus Ian didn't include his parents? Ok, whatever.

Chad, Chad, Chad....he's in his 30's, unemployed and lives at home with mom. But he forgot to mention any of this until the hometown date? And he didn't even mention the 'job' part of it, his family said it and caught Meredith off guard.

So, I have to say I was most impressed with Matthew's hometown date. He's looking pretty good right about now, especially when compared to the others.

The overnight dates should tell more, I guess.

I'm glad they have hometown dates, I think it's needed for the show.

I must say before the rose ceremony I pretty much guessed that Lanny or Ian was going home. I thought it would be Lanny because of his mother, I would never marry a man's mother...I mean it would be cool to have a friend but she's way too controlling. And it's a shame because Meredith and Lanny had great chemistry but I think their lifestyles wouldn't match.

I really liked Matthew's family, and Chad's but I'm still a little hesitant that Chad didn't tell Meredith he was unemployed and I'm wondering she didn't question him on it...and he still lives with his mother but I understand why. Ian's family is a little werid, and I think they are right for each other either. I think Ian is more of a 'life long bachelor' and a committed married type. I think she'll probably pick Matthew but I'm not sure.

I predict that Matthew will be the final one. When she's around him, her whole face lights up. Plus his family normal, as is Matthew. I was indifferent towards him until his home date.

Chad left out some important information when he was getting to know Meredith and I don't think that bodes well for him in the future.

Ian is just odd. He appears to have commitment issues and there is no way he would propose to her by the end of the show. He's not the least bit interested in marrying Meredith. To be honest, I haven't liked the since the moment we met him.

Lanny's mom ruined any possibility of him getting a rose this week. She was way too demanding and forward. I don't blame Meredith for being freaked out. I don't think Meredith would've done well on a ranch and Lanny didn't really seem all that heartbroken anyhow.

Well, from the very beginning of the Chad/Meredith date I had a bad feeling about it. There didn't seem to be as much between them as she seems to have with Ian or Matthew. Chad still acts nervous and awkward around her.

I really don't know who I think she'll pick in the end. She looks to be really struggling with it. I loved her date with Matthew, they fit well together. But Ian really opened up and they seem to be good together as well. Maybe how they act with Meredith's family will make a difference.

The reunion show tonight should be interesting [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] I'm betting big mouth Ryan will run the show [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img] I am curious also to see how Lanny responds to the audience not taking well to his strict mom.

Honestly, I feel like the show is trying to make us think it is Ian with all the kissing and affection with Meredith. Ultimately, my heart is telling me it will be Matthew (hopefully).

While Meredith has seemed very happy and glowing with Ian, there is this overwhelming emotional connection with Matthew. When they were on the couch last night cuddling and he was whispering in her ear, Meredith was crying. Meredith has admitted many times that she has problems opening up and I think her tears spoke volumes. Many may say she is crying because she does not want to break Matthew's heart but I think she was crying because she has finally found her soulmate and wants to tell him so much that she is in love with him.

I always enjoy this show and really loved Ryan and Trista (before the stupid wedding bonanza) and Jen and Andrew but this is the first time I felt like I was truly watching two people break down their emotional barricades and fall in love. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

FYI: The ABC boards are crazy with speculations. More seem to think it is Ian.

Ugh I am so mad I forgot about the Men Tell All Special last night. I hate it when they move stuff around and put it on a different week, don't they know most people watch Friends at 8 on Thursdays?

As for Wednesday's ep I was so not surprised that Chad got the boot. Like everyone has said he just didn't seem as comfortable around Meredith. I think he was a nice guy, they just weren't meant to be together.

I think that it is going to be Matthew in the end. She just seems to glow when she is around him, kind of like Trista always did with Ryan. It also seems from the previews that Matthew will connect better with her family, and I am sure that will be important to her. I think she is attracted to Ian, but it doesn't seem like the sort of thing that would last.

Nah, I think it's Ian. Just look at the body language she has with him. It's like COME HERE, GRRR! and with Mathew it's more sudued and friendly. I think Matt is a great guy, but him and Meredith seem to have a more "friend" vibe going on. If you guys don't believe me, watch the Fantasy Dates again and you will see.

I just watched my tape of this weeks episode this morning. I'm rooting for Matthew. Watching him and Meredith on the beach and then in their suite was just magical. Everything seemed so natural and her face does just light up when she's with him. Plus, as it was already mentioned, they've made that emotional connection. I honestly don't think Ian will committ to Meredith. He's been to wishy-washy about "the end result" of this process. Plus he didn't even let Meredith meet his parents and he also appears to be a bit arrogant. If she did choose him, I can't foresee them making it to the alter.

I forgot about the Men Tell All special, too. Anyone care to recap?
