The Bachelor: Rome

Is anyone planning on watching this? I'm intrigued by the locale, but the bachelor himself does nothing for me. I saw a commerical this morning promoting the casting call that is being done here in Arizona and they briefly showed him.

I end up watching The Bachelor every time, but I haven't seen the guy for Rome. Or maybe I did and just don't remember.

He seems to be pretty forgettable, so it wouldn't surprise me if you didn't remember

That's true. I don't think any bachelor will be better than the last one, though. (In my opinion) He was so gracious, and sweet, and... EVERYTHING.

The new Bachelor is Lorenzo Borghese. Can you picture all the gold diggers on the show squealing over his "Prince" title? (meaningless as it is) He operates an internet company that sells doggie bath products.

I don't think he's that cute.

I always say I'm not going to watch but then I end up watching it. I probably will this time too.

Oh, I can picture it now. Especially since he was announced BEFORE the girls were selected. They had an open casting call here in Arizona last weekend.

Hmmm, he doesn't do anything for me. But I'm sure I'll watch. It will definitely be gold digger country.

For their casting calls in Chicago, they asked women to show up at Spy Bar between the hours of midnight and 2:00 am. It's like they WANT to show drunken, nonsensical audition tapes. Yeah, we're going to have a really great crop of women on this show. Except not really. ("Like oh my god, I'm going to be Princess _____!")

That's interesting, Chilton Yale, because here in AZ, they asked the women to show up at one of the local news stations around lunchtime.

Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to their casting efforts. I don't live in Chicago, but those who do posted that info on TWoP. There were other auditions across the city and a poster from TWoP went to see the freakshow, but she said there was hardly anyone there.

^ Than that's probably a good thing. I hate when they fill the selection of girls with psychos, skanks and gold diggers.
