Reality TV - Average Joe: Hawaii - Page 2

I saw the episode last night and throughout the episode
they were gearing up for the "twist" when the hunky
guys turn up. However, I didn't think this group
of hunky guys were as good as last season.

I think Larissa is more prone to dump the Average Joes and go with the hunks than Marissa, she has a huge smile on her
face (kinda smile of relif.)

I think Larissa thinks some of the Average Joes can
be 'good friends' but does not see any romantic
interest in them (e.g. the Joe with the goofy hair)

You're so mean! At least you don't try to hide it. What about the guy who won the swimming and running thing? You think he was ugly? If you think he's ugly then you'd probably think I was hideous. Some of the average guys looked really weird, but a few seemed like normal good guys to me.

As for her being "totally in her league" now, what makes her so great? She hasn't shown any hint of personality or sense of humor. Physically, she's way too thin, flat as a board, has a fake tan, and wears way too much makeup. How is she a prize?

yeah i agree i dont think she is all that! i think that last girl was nicer and prettier. she seems so like dead she just has her looks. the hot guys came on all cocky i hated that ok you know your good looking but dont be so damn cocky. you know already she was way too happy to pick one of the average joes now!!

Her looks aren't even good unless you like the anorexic Karen Carpenter look with pounds of makeup and a fake bake tan.

The new guys seem really mean. I hope Larrissa gets rid of them after the "fat suit episode."

When the new guys came in, I felt so bad for Tony, I thought he and Larrissa were really cute together that time when they painted each other on their date. He looked so sad when the guys walked in, and he looked at Larrissa and she was smiling.

Finally the new TV Guide says that there is a rule on Average Joe, that the final two guys must be "one nerd and one hunk." So even if Larrissa doesn't like the average guys, one of them will make it to the last episode.

i think that it should be her choice it shouldnt HAVE to be 1 average joe and 1 hot guy i think it should be whatever she wants it shoudl be set up i dont liek that now lol!!

Are you sure that's an official rule? Or is someone just giving their opinion of how they think it should be or will be? I would think that would be mentioned in the show if it were part of the rules.

The guy that won the competition is the only decent looking one there. But...he's a religious fanatic or Jesus freak if you will and told Larissa that Jesus comes first (nice going ass) which put him on the top shelf for a while. Figures that the only decent looking guy there had to be nuts. She was very disappointed when he went on his Jesus tirade when they were speaking alone in the second ep I believe.

Larissa hasn't shown any hint of personality? What? oh okay, so crying because you have to elimate some people you've come to care a great deal about merits no personality nor how sweet she actually is to those guys despite her being on TV. She's hot as all hell and if she has a fake tan it's because she's smart and doens't want a real tan to damage her skin so she can look 110 years old when she is 50.

Thanks butterbear, for posting that. Doesn't seem quite right that she would have to have one nerd and one hunk in the end. What if she had it narrowed down to 2 hunks or 2 nerds. Oh well, I guess they want to make sure her final pick is looks vs. personality so they can slam her either way.

One of the new guys needs to go. Can't remember his name...but he mentioned dreaming about Larissa before even meeting her? (cookoo) and then he was bad talking the other guys. Then he's on a comercial crying about something. He's a freak.

I felt bad for the old guys during the gym competition. And the dodge ball game was brutal. It did make me laugh when one of the guys were hit by a ball they dubbed in this slow motion, deep monster moan..kind of like you hear in a movie. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

As bad as I feel for the guys, the dodge ball comptition was funny. I felt terrible for Sean during the monkey bars and rope climb competition. That's just so wrong.

On the first Average Joe the new guys came into the house NOT knowing there were already guys there. I hate that it's different this time. The hot guys knew before hand and without even knowing any of the other guys immediately thought they were better. That really bugs me. And it shows a lot about what kind of guys they are.

I also read that there's going to be an Average Joe 3 and Adam Mesh (from the first one) is going to be the main guy who gets to pick the girls. I don't see how that will work though considering he's already played the game and knows about the twists and turns. I guess we'll see.

LMAO!!! It's sooo funny that the first group of guys thought they had a shot at her at all. LMAO!!! Even with these hot guys they are still trying. LMAO! Does that Boston guy Brian Worth..really think she was going to get with him and live happily ever after? Ohhh what about David Daskel the Mail Sorter? They did the IQ test for the first group and the physical for the second (new) group.. I don't understand why they did the kickball for the last stunt. Obviously the new kids were going to win. That was messed up, imo. They [the old group] never really got the fair chance.

I love the guy with the 'art' on his face.. I forget his name. He's seems like a cool guy. I was so shocked when they said he had the highest IQ score. I just didn't expect him to have it. Goes to show looks can be deceiving.

Also. That Todd guy. (Is that his name?) He's got some wicked sex appeal on him and all the other 'hot' guys are just lacking, imo. All they have are nice bodies, but no appeal to go along with them.

I agree. The last show it was average but nice guys with cute but nice guys. It seems they wanted to change it to see if Larissa will choose a cute jerk over a nice "average" guy.

I couldn't get over how full of themselves the new guys were the whole time they were showing them on the boat. Like Krissy said, they didn't even know the Joe's. I kept thinking to myself they couldn't POSSIBLY really feel this way!! The producers must have told them to really pump up the cockiness. But, I don't know.

Although I feel bad for the Average Joe's I do agree with one thing the "hot" guys said. They work hard on their bodies to be fit. Larissa works hard (I think) on her body to keep it fit. That is already one part of their life style that they have in common. I honestly cannot see ANY fit person who cares about their physical appearance being with someone who doesn't. It's a whole mindset. I don't think I am explaining this correctly, though. It's like someone who is an English Lit professor wouldn't date a person who loathes reading in any way. It's just a personality trait. That is just my opinion.

Plus, Larissa seems way more superficial. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

I think the producers purposely picked two physical and one mental challenge so that the new guys could spend time with Larissa.

I understand what you're saying, but I think art is more important to Larissa than working out at the gym. None of the new guys are artists, but two of the Average Joes are: Tony and Mike S. I think she has more in common with them.
