Are you getting the US show? I've never seen it (I think it's over now) but it's done pretty well over here and I think I heard something about a second season.

Yep it's a American show, we just started watching it over here

I love how the show...sort of... teachs you on what not to do

Yeah, I think that was the point. Being around a waifer thin host wouldn't be a confidence booster eh?

Up until the last ep I thought Maurice should've gotten the boot. He didn't seem to do much/bother to work out as much, but seeing as he was the biggest loser last week, guess I was wrong.

Surprised that Matt was kicked out last ep, he was always a big loser [bar the week he gained. ] but he *was* a tad annoying. I hoped Dave or the girl who had the panic attack during the stair race would have been booted.

Currently going for blue girls. They seem to try hard all the time.

Yeah Maurice doen't seem to be trying much, like picking up that Cupcake and smelling it he shouldn't have done that

Hee, that part was funny..I was hoping he'd eat one cupcake so he could beat Dave out to the prize [so that would mean he'd need to eat 2 right? ] but the repercussions of that would have been bad..[imo] They'd all think he turned against them and was not there for the long haul [and all for a cupcake. ] if he *did* eat that cupcake he was lingering around. I bet he'd have been close to leaving [if they lost] if he ate one [for reasons mentioned above].

Sucks that they changed it to one ep per week, but I spose that's a blessing in disguise. Means the show's doing well enough to not need to be on air as much.

Mum and I were waiting for the thursday one...lol and we end up getting the cop show :\ too much cop shows, if you ask me

In the next eppy ad it looked like someone Quit...from the blue team

Everyone’s a winner on ‘The Biggest Loser’!

Caroline Rhea (“Sabrina, the Teenage Witch”) returns to host the second season of the series which challenges and encourages overweight contestants as they compete for a grand prize of (US)$250,000 in a safe and recommended manner through comprehensive diet and exercise. The unscripted and life-altering one-hour reality series gathers contestants from across the country to face real-life temptations while being provided with approved weight-loss skills and resources in an effort to help them transform their bodies, health - and ultimately, their lives.

“The Biggest Loser” provides the 14 strong-willed yet hopeful contestants -- who are divided into the red team (men) and the blue team (women) - challenges, temptations, weigh-ins and eliminations until the final contestant remains to claim the title of “the biggest loser.”

The teams will have opposite-sex trainers, as Bob Harper will make the women cry and Jillian Michaels will make the men throw up. Will this division give the men’s team an advantage?

Executive producer David Broome tells US TV Guide, “There’s this myth out there that men lose weight faster and better than women. We’re going to test that myth.”

But all is not lost: The magazine reports that, “In an attempt to level the playing field during the three months contestants work out on Biggest Loser’s fitness farm, producers will compare percentages rather than pounds.”

The inspirational first series was an instant success with Australian viewers, making ‘The Biggest Loser’ a ratings ‘winner’ reaching almost 1.2 million viewers in the series finale.
