| The Lovely Bones----> There are actually two girls that are really skinny (Catie and Shandi) Catie looks pretty cute,but like I said before none of them are eye catching. Heatheractually looks stupid and he is definitly trying to hard, i mean look at her pictures from the official site:  Didn't the judges say something to someone last year that putting your hands there makes you look slutty (maybe it was just me)  It looks to me here that she is trying way to hard to pose. Shandi reminds me of Elyse, they are both really skinny and have the same kind of beauty to them. Catie is really cute, but I think Tyra is going to consider her too "applepie" like she did with Shannon. I think it's cool that Anna is a housewife and that she wants to become a model, but I think she won't go far because she is a housewife. I mean let's say she wins she's either going to have to get her kids to come with her or she will be away from them alot. Jenascia is the best loking out of all of them. | She looks so much like Harmony on Buffy in that picture! I agree that none of them stand out from each other. It seems like last year they had a much more well rounded group. Now they look very commercialized and boring, like someone you'd see on the street. I watched some of the audition tapes and Catie seems very cool. | Elite Fan   | I only started to watch the first episode last year just to see if it matched how stupid and shallow I had expected it would be... and to my surprise I was completely hooked within 5 minutes! [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] It wasn't what I thought it would be at all. I liked how it delved into their lives. I'm really looking forward to the second season. I actually thought the show was going to be pretty interesting from the beginning, I have always been interested in the modeling world and how to break into it and stuff. Everyone told me it was just a silly show but I think it's awesome. I am sooo glad there is a second season. I can't wait till Jan. 13th!! | |||

| Good point, I just noticed Shandi because of the string bean effect but yeah there are two girls that are really skinny which is encouraged in modeling so its ok. Catie looks a little more curvy, maybe its the bigger breast, I don't know...but Shandi deffinetly looks like this years Elyse, but I think she might be lacking the raw edgy attitude that Elyse brought with her Anna might be this years Robin minus plus size label, which is sad, I don't know why they are trying to recreate, when I think its obvious that they are. On looks wise my favorites are Anna (But I dont see her as a top model, I see her doing catalogue work, JC Penny ad's) Shandi is pretty but I don't know, the pictures of her are stereotyping her as a dork, so I don't know yet. | OMG i am sooo ready for season 2. but its never gonna be like season 1 cus u can never get another Adrianne or Elyse, or even another Robin(and thank god for that!!) all i am hoping for this season is that the girls have strong personalities and for a lot of DRAMA!!! and thank god that JANICE DICKINSON is back cus she just rocks!!!! and the Baby Phat chick is out!! YAY!! i am so happy that Adrianne and Elyse r doing so well! YAY and i also i saw Elyse on a Chanel Ad --------- and now my prediction by just looking at the pics and the profiles of the girls---yes i Dont have a life [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] ANNA--she likes CHEATERS the greatest show on tv [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]so she has to be great! even though i dont like her look i have a feeling she has aditude! | The commercials are actually making the show seem decent. One thing I like about this show is all the colors and stuff. Everything either looks well put together or artsy or something. It's fun to watch not only because of what happens, but the way they film it. Does that make sense? | Pretty decent first ep. tonight. None of the girls really grabbed me the way Adrianne did last season - she was cool from the beginning and none are as stunning in front of the camera as Elyse was. I'm surprised Anna was booted considering how Miss Tyra kept Robyn on for so long last season in her need for a plus-size model. Camille seems like a Robyn-esque diva so she's not going to win, Jenascia may have survived the first elimination but I don't think she's going to make it, either will Bethany - I remember last season the first ones kicked off were the ones considered too "sexy". Heather and Catie seem somewhat like Shannon - blonde and bland - although I really grew to like Shannon last season once she wasn't under Robyn's influence so who knows? I don't think Shandi will make it either unless she gets a major make-over and can feel comfortable with herself. Sara may have the best looks IMHO but she seemed a bit stiff at the photo shoot.Xiomara is a bit too old to be starting out (26?) and she is very toothsome and the judges brang that up last season a lot. So based on one ep. my picks for going all the way (barring missteps) are April, Mercedes, and Yoanna. [ 01-13-2004: Message edited mr.simpatico ] | |||

| Anna is doing a chat on UPN.com at 1:30 (central time) Janice did a chat yesterday but I missed it. I thought Anna was pretty, but hated how she got the plus size label when Bethany was the same wieght, I mean boobs do not weigh as much as people give them credit for, maybe Bethany has more muscle I don't know, but Anna not posing dissapointed me, and apperently Janice too, I thought Anna went deer in headlights, to me very dissapointing and stopped liking her, the short one has too short a fuse and how the hell could she sleep that long overdo? Don't like the girl who lost 50 pounds, I liked Shandi and Catie's pics the best, but UPN isn't putting them up, probably because of the controversy thing about what was in US weekly __________________ We are what we repeatedly do -William Blake | |||
