Bboooo it totally sucked. I really dislike Yoanna and Mercedes kicked ass on the fashion show...it was so unfair.

Yoanna: [Chuckles] I don't think she looks a lot like me, but that's what the buzz is. I disagree. I asked everyone who knows me, "Does this look like me?" They say, "No way!"

TVGO: Her name is Cassia. Do you know her?
Yoanna: No, I actually don't know who she is, but I know Sephora had no idea who the winner was. So it couldn't be me on that cover!

TVGO: Were you bummed that this false clue sort of dampened the surprise of your win?
Yoanna: [Laughs] No, it's just more publicity for me.

TVGO: Once you reached Top Model's final three, were you sure you'd win?
Yoanna: I guess it was in question, especially when I was up against Shandi. Toward the end, I felt Shandi was my biggest competition because of her evolution and her metamorphosis and how she photographed really well.

TVGO: Did you mind Mercedes calling you a "bitch" � about a zillion times � during her interviews in the finale episode?
Yoanna: [Laughs] I think it's hysterical. It's down to the end and we were up against each other. We get along really well, and that's just her personality. I thought it was cute the way it was done.

TVGO: You were upset when Camille hinted to Tyra that you have an eating disorder. How did you lose the weight?
Yoanna: Just changing my eating habits, getting a trainer and working out. I'm just being healthy and loving it. As far as the situation with Camille, I just think it's ridiculous. It's making something out of nothing. I don't have an eating disorder. The girls backed me up on that on the show. They all felt bad, like, "Oh, how could someone be so mean to you?"

TVGO: Frankly, the first Model winner, Adrianne Curry, has not been a huge success. Does that worry you about your own chances for reaching supermodel status off this show?
Yoanna: No, just because Adrianne is Adrianne. She has her agency looking after her. I'm gonna work hard and I know IMG has an amazing management team. They represent some of the most infamous and great models who are doing the biggest campaigns. They're mapping it all out for me. I'm not really nervous.

I wanted Yoanna to win but I honestly didn't think she would. My heart was beating so fast when they were going to announce it. Somehow I thought Yoanna had a chance since they kept praising Mercedes in the end like they did with Shannon last year. (BTW has anyone heard about Shannon since the show?) It's like the nice girls always get second.
I came to school the next day and people were shunning me because it was supposedly all my fault Yoanna won. haha. But honestly, she's beautiful, she's a lot of fun, and she WANTED to win soo soo badly (like Adrienne). She reminds me kind of of Audrey Hepburn (although the photo they chose of her as Audrey was a little too bug eyed).
It isn't that I don't like Mercedes; I do. She seems like she'd be a very nice person (although her annoying little giggle all the time would make me want to punch her after a while). However, I would hang out with her, not see her modeling. Yoanna is much better as far as which one do you want to look at on a magazine or on the runway (not that I watch fashion shows) or see on a talk show? My answer: Elyse. hehe But I'll take Yoanna too. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

I did NOT like those last too pictures of Mercedes or Yoanna. Shandi's was the most appealing to look at. If I saw Yoanna's or Mercedes's pictures (more Yoanna's) in a magazine I would flip the page and ignore the ad it was for because they were more scary than anything. However, I loved that Mercedes said she looked like Buckwheat. I am so Little Rascals obsessed. She scored major points with me for that one.

I want those gayheads at UPN to change the website. I don't like how the portfolio photos are so small and the nude ones are only of their faces and how the nude ones they did in couples aren't even on the website.

In my local newspaper, they did an article about girls in the area trying out for America's Next Top Model. I guess it is becoming kind of a big deal now like American Idol (only on a much smaller scale).
I am really hoping they get people more like season one on the show- more diverse, less "I've been wanting to be a model my whole life and I know exactly what to do", ect. It was like this season maybe there were too many people so you couldn't get a feel for their personalities that much.

I think they're having an episode about the Wrap Party here soon. I saw some preview on UPN the other day and it had Yoanna. I'm excited but I don't know when it is. I better not miss it!
