The Amazing Race 7 - Getting closer to the finish line...

This season seemed to go by so quickly compared to last season...

Sigh. Only so many episodes left.....

I know...it went really quickly. I don't know what I'm going to do during the break

I must admit, I'm not really sure Id like the family version of TAR. (Thats the next one, right?) I think its a good idea, and a new direrction for the show, but I dont think I'd really enjoy it.

I'm kinda not looking forward to the family edition. I guess it'd be interesting, but I don't really wanna see a bunch of 12-year-olds running around, crying because they're too scared to do a task and grumpy because they're going on 3 hours of sleep. I dunno...it's not really broken, so why fix it?

I'm not terribly excited about a family season either. Just speaking from kids I've seen on shows like Fear factor, they're all acting like little bad-a**es and talking with attitude. I'm guessing we'll either see little cocky kids or whiny babies. Some of these adult teams can hardly find patients with one another, how are they going to deal with kids?

Well I don't think it has to be "kids", really. Just family relatives. They could have grandparents/grandchildren team. Or whatever. I think the "kids" might be a bit older like 17-19 range. I doubt we'd see a 10 year old on the race.

True or it could be a sibling/cousin team, but I think that their will only be 1 maybe 2 teams that actually get along the rest of the teams will be dysfunctional I am pretty sure that will find parents who fight and call each other an f-ing moron in front of the kids.

Great episode. Loved Rob and Amber coming in 1st again

I can't believe M /G and U / J. After getting ahead last week because they (well, Uchenna anyways) were agressive looking for flights, what did they do this week? Nothing. Atleast Rob learned from his mistake last week I liked how he went to the other airline, making it look like they were getting tickets. Hee!

The flight was a gamble that paid off. I wonder if they will risk the same thing next week?

Anyhoo..GROSS that Kelly just borrowed lipstick from a total stranger. I thought it was hilarious they did a closeup of her face and revealed all was not pretty without makeup. I'm not making fun..god knows my face isnt perfect either

Who thinks Uchenna should have got a penalty for trying to help M / G? Maybe thats the bitch coming out in me But he did help, in a way. I know I know..I'm cruel. I actually enjoy U / J. I'm looking forward to seeing how they go next week.

Can't wait for next week. And the GREAT thing is that my honours defense (*gulp*) will be over by then, so I can REALLY enjoy the show. Great.

Even though I don't really like Rob all that much... for him tonight. "Please go fast." in Turkish. Commuting by underground trains instead of taxis. Getting yet another local to tag along. Yielding Ron and Kelly. Wow. Great job.

I couldn't believe Gretchen and Meredith. Why would they choose a physical detour to do? Especially after that accident at the caves. Unless you are strong and fast with stuff like this boat stacking thing, of course the better detour would be to solve the riddles! You could at least ask around at the station to help solve the riddles like Ron and Kelly did. With the stacking thing, you are pretty much on your own. Geez.

Oooo...exciting next week.

I didn't watch the last season of TAR but this season has been great. I'm so happy that Rob and Amber finished first tonight. I'm definitely rooting for them to win! Meredith and Gretchen are sweethearts! Sad to seem the go.

I'm so happy that Meredith/Gretchen are gone! I don't know how much more I could've stood Gretchen's voice. Everytime she was distressed about something this episode, my fiance and I would yell in her annoying voice "Oh my God!" and crack up. Anyways, I agree that it was really stupid of them to do the boat task. Even if they weren't familiar with the London underground (and who was?), they should've tried that. With help from strangers, they could've completed the task much quicker than they did the boat one.

I agree that it was gross that Kelly borrowed lipstick from a stranger. I won't even do that with my close friends. Being a beauty queen and all, she must've hated to have had to go around with no makeup on. I know I feel naked without it and I'm really not that high maintenance.

I can't believe next week is the season finale already. I hope the order goes: Rob/Amber (winner), Uchenna/Joyce, Ron/Kelly.

So glad M/G are gone finally. I couldn't take them anyore. They were sweet to give Ron and Kelly money since R/K helped them before. I'm surprised R/K didn't have a hard time getting money--didn't they say they gave all teams $477 for that leg? Unless I misheard, that's a lot of money and being in England the exchange rate is kind of steep. It was cool for me seeing the London area since I lived there for a year.

I agree, borrowing lipstick from a total stranger is disgusting! Kelly just couldn't stand to look plain. I was thinking they might penalize R/K on the last part of the sherlock holmes thing. It stated to walk the remaining distance to the guy for the clue and they grabbed a taxi to save time.

Loved that Rob/Amber came in first. How is it they always get a prize when they come in 1st? Must be Rob's good luck. They were smart to yield R/K and great job finding earlier flights and risking it. It could have backfired bigtime.

M/G were dumb to take the brawn challenge. But I guess since they are gone I don't care anymore.

The season finale looks awesome! I'm so excited for it. R/A get into trouble with the police somehow. I'm soo rooting for them to come in first!

This is kinda a wierd question, but I don't know where else to ask....

Does anybody know who wrote the theme song to the show? I'd really appreciate it!

Really enjoyed last night's episode as well. Soooooooo glad to see M/G gone. lol... I'm mean, I know! But, I really want to see a competitive, nail-biting, finale. And, the last 3 teams left all have the potential to win based on their drive and ability, so it'll be exciting to watch. I too was *completely* annoyed that M/G chose the "brawn" task!!!! I mean, COME ON!!! Go with your strengths people!!!! As much as I admire them for making it so far at their age, they've made some stupid decisions along the way as well.. which is part of why I think it was their time to go.

I honestly can't predict who's going to win! It's going to be close, and it really is going to depend on luck and strategy. The team that I personally think is the LEAST deserving is Ron and Kelly. I just hate them. I really truly hate them. They're annoying and frustrating.

It would be nice to see U/C win. But, I wouldn't complain if Rob and Amber won! haha

I really hope you're right but they did lower the age limit from 12 to 8 at one point, so I'm really afraid there are going to be actual children. They are at least open to the possibility.

I wanted to like the oldies...and for a couple episodes I did. But then...they just got lost every five seconds and I'm thrilled that we'll be able to go the entire finale without a "Merrrrrrrediiiiiiiiiiiittttth!!!!!!"

Last night was the nigh I remembered why I read reality spoilers. There was spoiler from a so-called "always accurate" person that was WRONG and it only made the episode more exciting

Next week, I'm just rooting for R/K to be third place. Then, I'm happy and could care less who gets first, who gets second, they both are awesome.
