I really liked the preview they've been showing on TV for The Amazing Race -- loved seeing a clip of Charla! Also, looks like this season is full of real people and not a bunch of models which will be sort of nice. Models may be hot in real life, but on TAR everyone looks bad .

For some reason UChenna and Joyce look like TAR 5 winners Chip and Kim or maybe its just me. You be the judge. Anyway I am looking forward to the new season.

No problem. I was thinking the same thing about the names. Some names aren't so good on both genders.

I'm excited to see Rob and Amber. They are fun to watch. At least this time they can't be voted off and it all depends on how they compete. I hated Rob at the beginning of All Star Survivor, but he really grew on me by the end.

The girl roommates look like twins, I hope they don't dress alike all the time. I also wonder if the mom/son team might be irritating. Hopefully they get along like friends and we don't have to deal with mom bossing around kid or kid getting mad at mom.

The roommates really do look alike. There's another team dressed alike too. Maybe they just did it for the pictures. I was thinking I might like the mother/son. He looks pretty young.

I don't see the Uchenna/Joyce and Chip/Kim resemblance at all.

I was thinking I might like them too since they're different than any team we've ever seen. Then, I read they're bio and I'm pretty convinced I will love them. Patrick is actually 26.

I can't wait to see Rob and Amber. I hated them during Survivor, but I think they're a nice little couple.

did they apply like everyone else ? i dunno, so many people want to be on the show, it kinda seems unfair to allow a couple who has already won over a million $ and has some sort of fame to go onto the show...

I don't think Rob and Amber applied like everyone else, CBS offered it to them because they kept on mentioning how much they wanted to be on the show. From an Entertainment Weekly interview with the couple:
