I liked having Survivor & TAR twice a year, but not for anything else.

From what I saw of season 30, it doesn’t seem that the quality of the show has dipped at all.

^^ They've had a steady flow, they haven't changed a lot of the dynamic so it doesn't mess things up IMO.

Im not sure about survivor... I think I would prefer 1 a year too. I just get sick of shows when they are on constantly. Like, the challenge literally has one after the either and its too much lol.

I think that Amazing Race is one of the least scripted/lease rigged reality shows out there which is why it hasnt dipped in quality because its been the same premise the whole time and they haven't tried to add many dumb twists etc.

^^ I can understand that, but I like when it's two completely new casts, if there are returning players in back to back seasons, that would bother me more.

Yeah, there’s so much that goes into planning each season, with the countries and challenges, so there’s not really much that can be scripted. The editing does most of the “scripting” with making things more dramatic by making it seem like the foot races at the end of the legs are seconds when they could be hours a part.

I wish CBS hadn't given up on it, like they seem to have done.

It went from having 7 Emmy's won in a row for Outstanding Reality Competition Program (10 total) to not winning anything this year and airing one season a year.

that's true but it wouldn't be fun to watch if we didn't think everyone was somewhat close lol.

yeah it seems it might be on its way out which is sad. I still want to do it someday with my sister. they actually had auditions in near town this year.
