THE AMAZING RACE, winner of five consecutive Emmy Awards for Outstanding Reality Competition Series, returns for its 12th edition on the CBS Television Network, Sunday, Nov. 4 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT).

Editors Note: THE AMAZING RACE replaces "Viva Laughlin" which has been pulled from the schedule. A rebroadcast of CSI will air in the Sunday (8:00-9:00 PM) time period on Oct. 28.

"If there ever was a season that I consider one of the best, it's this one," said Bertram van Munster," executive producer, director and co-creator of THE AMAZING RACE. "It's insanely funny, fast-paced and dramatic all at once. Teams are in hot pursuit of one another at every location and its reality television at its nail-biting best."

This season, teams will travel approximately 50,000 miles, covering five new countries including Ireland, Lithuania and Croatia.

In its 11 previous editions, broadcast in several time periods, THE AMAZING RACE has averaged more than 10 million viewers and a 4.1/10 in adults 18-49.

Kynt and Vyxsin scaaare me! I would love to see them go far just to see how they're going to keep up with their makeup and hair.

The grandfather/grandson duo is interesting. I like that there are more diverse teams rather than the typical young model couples or whatever.

i think those couples are a recipe for some great Tv! my instant reaction is im rooting for the grandfather/grandson team,

yep, i'm almost positive that i'm going to have a thing for TK.

i think the goths are most definitely going to be interesting to watch ... not only to see how they do with the challenges and whatnot, but to see how they are percieved in other countries and by the other teams.

I'm definitely excited for the season to start. I'm glad that we don't have much longer to wait as opposed to past seasons where we had to wait weeks.

I agree. Usually we have to wait weeks or month and this time it was just two weeks.

I think that I am going to try to watch too. I haven't watched the last couple seasons because they were on bad days. I don't have anything else on Sundays so thats good.
