Who would you ship Sam McPherson with?

I'm mostly thinking characters on Popular, but I guess you could pull characters from other shows too. This is whatever characters you'd ship Sam with, whether it's Mary Cherry or Harrison John or George Austin or Sugar Daddy or Josh Ford or Brooke McQueen or Fox Mulder or Tara McLay or whoever.

Personally, the only character on the show I'd ship Sam with is Leo Ferrara, Carmen's big brother. Of course, because Sam's a minor and he's not, they'd have to wait til she's bit older. But he's a cool guy and they clearly mesh personality-wise. Plus she's clearly into him and they know each from way back and get on very well.

I wouldn't ship Sam with Harrison, he's, well... too much of an uptight wimp. I like him, but he doesn't make the grade. As for the Sam/Brooke ship, no way is Brooke worthy of Sam. She tries hard and has some dignity, but she's a lot more "just a cheerleader" than the show wants to admit. Similarly, for all his "I-don't-want-to-do-football-I-want-to-act", Josh is way too much of a big dumb Jock to be good enough for Sam. It'd be like Buffy/Riley. And as for Mr. self-righteous George Austin, Sam being involved with that dork really annoyed me. It was as bad as Buffy being stuck with Angel the-moron-with-a-soul. And it takes a lot for a ship to be as bad as B/A. Also, there was the teacher Sam was chasing in season 1, Mr. Grant. Poor Sam, chasing that poser, I'm sorry she got all cut up about it, but I'm very glad nothing happened. And he was way too old for her, anyway.

As for characters from other shows, one character comes to mind who I think would be good shipped with Sam -Michael Guerin from Roswell.

I have to admit, one of the very few Sam ships I have is Brooke. Which is odd considering I agree with your 'not worthy' description Sum. I guess I just can't get past thed the cool chemistry the girls had.

So you don't ship Sam and Willow?

The show did a very good job with the ineraction between Sam and Brooke. Not that that changes my view that Brooke isn't good enough for Sam.

Yeah I have to agree with Sum about the Sam - Brooke shipping. But when not Brooke, who else?

I never heard about someone called Leo. In what episode was he?

Oh, Sam - Willow sounds not bad and of course Sam - Kennedy.

Wow...blast from the past right here, I loved Popular.

Anyway, I'm not into F/F, so I'd ship her with Josh. I originally shipped her with Harrison, just 'cause I was a "Best friends make the best lovers" fanatic, but now I dunno. Brooke doesn't deserve Sam...she just doesn't...

Damn I miss this show. The WB has been on my list for some time now.

I remember though, reading a Faith/Cordy and Sam/Brooke fic a while back and thinking that Faith would be an interesting Sam ship

He seems to play quite a few bit parts on old WB shows. If I remember correctly he ended up on Charmed as well.

He played in many popular series like: Monk,CSI,Birds of Prey,ER,Charmed,Pensacola,Popular,and so on.
