Ditto. And the fact that it tells you to go to TheWB.com?

It would be nice if The WB actually promoted the DVDs like they do with Roswell and Dawson's Creek on their site.

I think The WB would like to keep Popular one of their dirty little secrets.

Well they sure seem to love Leslie Grossman, putting her first on Popular, then Charmed and now What I Like About You.

Anyone else notice how he avoided talking about Carly for the most part, and when she was mentioned, he fell silent? At one point in HOTO, SITM he said, kind of perturbed, "I didn't realize how much Carly was in this episode."

Well, if he's considering doing a Popular reunion movie or something, he better patch things up with her. I think it'd actually be worth campaigning for such a thing...I mean it couldn't hurt. We've got our DVDs, don't we?! Who's with me...
If Ryan Murphy has anything against Carly, then I have something against HIM. If he had something against her, it might help explain why she had less centrality in season 2, something that really p1ssed me off. Between her reduced importance and a massive reduction in overall quality, season 2 became pretty much crap.

Particularly seeing as Carly's the whole point of the show.

Good point Nikki. Either that or the casting directors really liked her. I can see why, she's great at comedy.

As for Carly being less present in Season two, they seemed to go with character centric episodes that season more than group dynamics and the Sam/Brooke tension. Harrison's cancer, Nicole's adoption issues, Carmen's abusive mother, Lily and the whole homosexuality issue.

The first Season finally arrived. I watched some episodes and they are all so great. Now I know what I missed the whole time. Crazy tales at Kennedy High!

About the soundtrack: I saw the episodes 1-8 the first time. But I know how good the soundtrack in Popular was. I had often the feeling that in some situations should be another let me say a more popular song play. Now after reading the last posts I know why. The music was like the whole show called "Popular". And thats why it was a huge part of the show. It sucks that they changed the music.

And I was very surprised too, that there are no goodies on the DVD. I dont count the Audio Commentary because I missed Carly!

But what really counts now is that finally we have it. And I hope that the second season will follow soon.

By the way know someone how many DVD's of Popular are sold till now?

Ok you have problems to find them and I have no time watch them.

I have the box now since a week and could only watch the half of all episodes.
