Over at the Felicity board, they've celebrated Felicity's arrival on DVD for months now, and I've been wanting to do the same for Popular to celebrate the petition's success. I'm a little embarrassed to admit it, but I regularly check amazon.com for updates to the Popular box set page...and they've finally put up the cover art.

If there are any others out there anxiously awaiting September 21, the date of the DVD release date like me, here's the place to post, countdown and get updates. So far, amazon.com seems to be the place offering the best deal on the boxed set @ $41.99.

I am soooooo excited that it's coming out on DVD! I love this show. I was extremely obsessed with it. No show out there can outdo Merry Cherry. Perfect. All the characters were. Why is it that the networls cancel the best shows. It won a kids choice award or something like that, which means that people liked it. I'm just relieved that it's coming out on DVD.

Yeah, but when I think about, that I have to wait 6 weeks till the DVD will arrive in the 'old world' I'm a little bit sad. So no Popular on DVD before November.

Coolness. I think I have one episode on tape. I don't know which one so maybe ya'll can help. It's the one where Dido sings track 7 off her first CD. Can't recall the title right now I remember it's track 7.

Just checked Amazon. It's Honestly OK.

They were holding someone hostage I think.

I don't remember the title of the episode, but it's when Brooke fears she may be pregnant. I loved the scene where that song plays, it's very dramatic and powerful and Bibby pulled it off wonderfully.

Wild, Wild Mess Plot

This week our two warring cliques manage to turn the school's "guest principal" election into a popularity contest. The cheerleaders want Gwyneth Paltrow and they'll do whatever it takes to get her, which includes kidnapping her personal shopper. The alternative crowd wants George Stephanopoulos, and they think they've got an "in" through Harrison's mom, Robin, since she's one of George's old flames.

But fate intervenes, causing Sam and Brooke to join forces again when they learn that Brooke might be pregnant. Weirded out and afraid, Brooke doesn't want to have anything to do with Josh and keeps him in the dark.

The next big surprise comes when Sam and her friends meet Harrison's mom, who's gay. They think it's cool that she's so "out," but Harrison is the one who wants to hide in the closet. Robin is crushed.

Sam takes Brooke to the Women's Clinic, but she calls Josh because he needs to know, and Brooke needs his support whether she can admit it or not. The tests show that Brooke isn't pregnant after all, and she's obviously relieved.

Robin talks it out with Harrison and realizes that he needs more time to be comfortable with who she is. But she's still popular in his book ... he votes for her as "guest principal."
